Netflix's popular dating show spin-off Love is Blind: Habibi aired on October 10, 2024. The Arabic version of the social experiment consists of a total of nine episodes, all of which were released on the premiere day.
The experimental dating show features individuals seeking to find their potential romantic partner within the cultural norms while following their traditions.

For that, the platform even tweaked a few changes in the show's format so that the singles from the United Arab Emirates' surrounding regions could find themselves a "soulmate."
Among 20 participants, some of the contestants found their potential connections. One of the couples was Dounia, 24, and Chafic, 27. Both of them were the youngest participants from their gender categories.
After the duo found each other fascinating and explored their connection, they got engaged and then met a second time. The fourth episode featured Love is Blind: Habibi stars Dounia and Chafic's first date at the vacation resort.

Love is Blind: Habibi episode 4, Catching Up With Cupid, featured Dounia and her fiance Chafic's first date. Before that, the couple only met once during the show's pods phase, when they got engaged after their face-to-face reveal.
The 24-year-old content creator, Dounia, met Chafic, and both seemed excited about their "first date." The couple sat on the shore, facing the sea in a romantic setting.
"I swear, I'm getting nostalgic now about the Pod," shared Dounia.
Chafic agreed and said he felt how "time flies." They memorized their time during the show's first phase and reminisced about how they connected for the first time on their first blind date.
"With a connection, you either feel it or you don't. You cannot force it. From the beginning, I know," shared Chafic.
When the female participant mentioned the pods' date as her "first experience," Chafic added that it was her "first and last experience."
Chafic then shared in his private confessional that Dounia has never had a boyfriend. He confessed to being unable to accept a girl with "five or six exes."
While Dounia referred to such individuals as having more "emotional experience," Chafic disagreed.
"I don't want a girl who's emotionally already done, and with trust issues, because this happened with me before. I was in relationships where I felt that I was taking all, sorry, the s***…that the previous guy did," shared Chafic.
Sharing more about himself, he mentioned he was "jealous" and he didn't like people who "turn around." He also shared this in his confessional and accepted that he was a "jealous person."
He also shared that he would be watching Dounia's "actions" and how she would be talking to other girls and other guys.
"I want to see how she speaks to other girls, speaks to other guys," confessed Chafic.
Love is Blind: Habibi male participant admitted how he would "see from his eyes" if he saw Dounia talking or laughing with a guy. He told Dounia not to engage in such activities, especially with the "guys." Even so, if such a situation arose, she should stop it immediately.
"Stop it straight away," said Chafic.
In her separate confessional, Dounia shared how she "really liked" Chafic, but the "jealousy" part was scary. That marked the ending of Love is Blind: Habibi stars Dounia and Chafic's first date.
They learned a lot about each other and how they see their partner. Dounia learned about Chafic's thinking and his views about how he would see her interacting with other people.
