Netflix's Love is Blind: Germany aired its last episode, the reunion, on January 19, 2025. One of the couples that got engaged on the show was Shila and Tolga. But the couple did not advance on the social experiment as they split before the wedding ceremonies took place.

Love is Blind: Germany's reunion episode featured a conversation between Shila and Tolga regarding how he felt after which he ended their connection. The hosts referred to Shila and Tolga's journey on the social experiment as "intense."

"It was a brief time period, unfortunately. But it was very intense, as we all saw. On Crete, I was shocked to hear what you said, Tolga. "Marriage or the preceding level to marriage feels like a prison." That's just one of many examples that we heard here and there," shared the male host.

He continued:

"And Shila, you were such a strong woman and we were really rooting for you. Okay, girl! There she is! We were with you. You were a different woman on Crete."

The reunion then featured Shila and Tolga's journey from the show. The clip featured Love is Blind: Germany star Tolga telling Shila how he felt "being choked." He also talked about how there was anybody "to talk to."

In another clip when Shila mentioned that "at some point" she would cook for him. Tolga responded that:

"You will have to cook."

Another scene featured Shila mentioning, how despite the show was "not a normal way" of meeting, she would do it again. On the other hand, Tolga said, he'd change a "few things."

Referring to her journey with Tolga on the show, Shila mentioned she was "speechless" from that moment when Tolga mentioned he would "change a few things." She shared that she didn't know what was wrong.

The female cast member also mentioned that since she "believed" in the experiment, she accepted the "engagement" even though it was "not easy."

"I simply couldn't breathe. And as soon as the cameras were gone...he said things like, "Well, you don't get what it means to be reduced to your looks."

While recalling Tolga's words, the Love is Blind: Germany cast member got emotional. The hosts questioned Tolga for his behavior. He mentioned he couldn't "cope" with the pressure.

Tolga also said that despite coming off as a "confident" person, it was "all a facade." Referring to not sharing his emotions, he said that he was "working" on it.

"I'm reflecting, but I can't manage....The levity we had in Sweden was gone the levity of the pods. Everything was so tough, a new situation. I couldn't cope with it," shared Tolga.

When fellow cast member Daniel favored Tolga and mentioned how good he was as a person, Shila mentioned an incident that happened when she was at the beach with Tolga.

"We were at the beach on a date, and there was a sandcastle. A large sandcastle obviously built by a little child, and we walk past it and he says, "Look, a sandcastle." "Shall I destroy it?" And I said no. I wanted to pull him away and he jumps on the castle and destroys it. In that moment, I asked myself how one person can be like that. With so little respect for others, for me. And that was just...I did not feel well."

After that, Tolga said that "all he could do" was "apologize" for his actions. He added that he was not "perfect" and that he couldn't "cope" with the situation.
