Netflix released Love is Blind: Germany Reunion on January 19, 2025. The latest episode of the social experiment featured participants who got engaged as well as those who were singles.

While some of the couples were split, there was one couple who got married during the show's finale. Among the couples, that were no longer together, one couple was: Shella and Pascal.

Fans witnessed Shella's confusion between Pascal and Fabio during the blind dates phase. However, she chose to move forward on the social experiment with Pascal, as she felt their connection was stronger. But, it didn't end well for the couple, as Pascal ended their connection soon after their engagement.

Love is Blind: Germany stars Shella and Pascal got engaged on the show and then advanced to the show's next phase. While spending more time together and exploring their physical connection, Pascal didn't feel that their connection had what it required to become a good relationship.

Hence he expressed wanting to end their connection, which they did, and left the experiment after their split. Referring to their split, Love is Blind: Germany cast member Shella mentioned:

"It hurt badly, I have to be honest. And it's rough seeing you (Pascal) again after a year. Yeah, it's hard."

The male host told Pascal:

"Pascal, we both sat on the couch and watched as your wrote that letter. It was read out loud. In the end, did you understand how strong Shella's feelings were for you?"

Love is Blind: Germany star Pascal responded that he was aware of Shella's feelings. He mentioned that her feelings were the reason behind him choosing her after the blind dates. He added that, Shella was "probably" the only person, for whom he thought to "propose."

Referring to him talking about the proposal, Shella asked if she was his "last option." She also asked him if he still would have chosen her if he had "multiple choices" to choose from.

Love is Blind: Germany star Pascal said that Shella has been his "number one" since after three blind dates.

Later when the female host asked about Shella's feelings for Pascal, she revealed:

"I think people were able to tell that I was having a tough time expressing my feelings. With Pascal, I felt like I could do it, so that's why I picked him. And the fact that he wrote me that letter, I was like, "Okay, he's giving us a chance. He's taking the engagement seriously." Then you hear a statement like, "I don't consider Shella my fiancee." That pierced my heart, honestly.

Listening to Shella, Pascal told her that, it was "never" his intention to hurt her. However, he mentioned that "sometimes" there was no "avoiding it."

"I mean, Shella is a beautiful, intelligent woman with a great personality. Fantastic. On Crete, I quickly realized that the spark, the magic that is necessary for true love, that was missing. I want to be honest with myself and with you."

He added:

"The danger was, if I continued with the experiment and he developed even stronger feelings for me, it would be much more painful if I called it off. I didn't want to do that because I'm not the kind of guy who leaves his fiancee standing at the altar."

Love is Blind: Germany star Shella appreciated his words and shared gratitude for ending it before that. She mentioned that he was a "great guy" and a "great man" and that he would find the "right woman" similar to her finding the "right man," someday.
