Love is Blind: Germany Reunion - Everything that happened between Sally and Medina
Love is Blind: Germany Reunion featured Sally and Medina sitting next to each other, unlike some other former couples. Show hosts Stephanie Brungs and Christian Wackert initiated the conversation by recalling the couple's wedding ceremony.
Referring to how Medina struggled to open up and share his feelings, they mentioned how the male cast member opened up at the altar.
"Medina managed to say that he is in love. That wasn't very easy. How did Sally get you to say that, Medina?" asked the male host.
Love is Blind: Germany star Medina shared that being with Sally felt "light." He mentioned his habit of keeping a "wall" when it was about his emotions. However, Sally "somehow" managed to get his feelings "out" of him. He also imitated Sally and how she could be "demanding" to him being unable to share his feelings."
In the latter part of the reunion, when the female host, Stephanie Brungs, asked Sally about her wedding ceremony, she was emotional. Sally mentioned that recalling those moments "stirred up" emotions. She remembered feeling "torn" on the day of their wedding ceremony, where her answer was "no."
Sharing more about her choice of not getting married on the show's finale, Sally revealed that:
"I just thought we needed some more time in actual everyday life after the experiment which will show what we have going on."
Fans must remember how, at the altar, after Sally said "no," Medina agreed to that and it turned out to be a mutual decision. He also mentioned it was not "the end" for their journey in terms of their relationship, but only the "end" of the social experiment.
At the time of the couple's wedding, everyone from the guests applauded such words coming from Love is Blind: Germany star Medina. He then kissed Sally and they both left the altar together, after jointly deciding to "not get married."
During the reunion, when the hosts asked Medina about his decision if he had faced the question first, at the altar.
"The whole time, you head said no, you've just known the woman for six weeks. I can't marry her. But your heart is like, it fits, we should get married. So I was torn. We held hands at one point and looked at each other and were just like...But that...So...I would've said yes," shared Medina.
Listening to Medina, Sally revealed that if that had been the case, then she "probably" would've said "yes" as well.
Before the reunion ended, the couple revealed their current relationship status.
"I'd say we're pretty close. We were in a relationship that wasn't very long. I just had some of my doubts and needed some space to take it all in and then decided to give it a break, to split up. We're not together since then, but we've got a great friendship," shared Sally.
When the male host asked Medina, he mentioned he was "good" then. However, he mentioned that the "split" was unexpected for him.
