Netflix released Love is Blind: Germany's Reunion episode on January 19, 2025. It marked the end of the show's debut season. Participants who were together and those who parted ways, along with the couples that got married, featured on the show's reunion. They all shared their sides of what happened between them and their partners.

One of the couples featured at the show's reunion was Jen and Marcel. When the show hosts, Stephanie Brungs and Christian Wackert, initiated the discussion by mentioning the couple as:

"Another couple here for whom star signs play a big role. Let me just say "Double Scorpio." Of course we're talking about Marcel. That's your reputation now. Sorry."

Everyone, including Marcel, laughed about that. Later, Brungs talked about how things had not "always been" easy with Jen and Marcel. She said:

"But at the end of the day, you got engaged and gave it a try. Let's have a look at an unaired scene."

The Love is Blind: Germany's Reunion featured some unaired scenes between Jen and Marcel from the social experiment. It showed the couple sitting beside each other when Jen mentioned working on a "table."

"For our everyday life, I hope that I start wanting to be closer to him again and that everything turns out to be the way it was before."

The Love is Blind: Germany couple then explored an astrology app to see which behavior traits were similar, including their compatibility. It showed that they were compatible in "basic identities, intellect." However, it showed that Jen and Marcel were incompatible in terms of "s*x and aggression."

Seeing that, Jen mentioned that they should work on "understanding each other's" moods and emotions. The clip ended, after which the female host mentioned how the couple needed to "see and hear" differing physical needs, which became "an issue" for them.

Responding to that, Marcel said that one of the most important aspects of "love" for him was to be close to his partner "physically." He also mentioned that doing so would be quite beneficial for "bonding", adding:

"I simply need that and that wasn't there," said Marcel.

When he called the situation between him and Jen "tough," she responded that during their pod dates, they "talked," but when they were physically together, there was "nothing." She said connecting with Marcel was "hard" for her.

Jen shared that she was not "physically close" to Marcel because she "always felt pushed away verbally," from him.

"I just couldn't give in to that because I just had my guard up. I hope everybody takes care of themselves in such a way when they have the feeling that they're not accepted."

Further on Love is Blind: Germany reunion, Brungs mentioned a sentence from Jen that stuck with her. She recalled Jen sharing how even though Marcel was "in front of her," she "missed him."

Fans witnessed Marcel and Jen call off their engagement during the social experiment's "living together" phase, after which they parted ways.
