Love is Blind: Germany's Reunion aired recently on January 19, 2025, on Netflix. Among the participants who got engaged in the social experiment, one couple was, Hanni and Daniel.

Love is Blind: Germany hosts Stephanie Brungs and Christian Wackert recalled Hanni and Daniel's wedding ceremony. They asked the couple how they felt at the time of the show's finale.

The male cast member recalled how he "knew" from the beginning about Hanni's feelings. Daniel mentioned that it was a "special bond" between them. Daniel also mentioned that listening to Hanni sharing her feelings for him at the altar was "nice to hear it."

"You can repeat it, if you'd like," shared Daniel.

The reunion also featured a look back at the couple's journey and how they started dating since their blind dates in the pods phase.

"Let's take a look at your beginnings. Back to the pods because you just said, Hanni, that you tried to subliminally talk about looks here and there," shared the female host.

Referring to Hanni's looks and style, the female host told her that she was "gleaming" on the show. She also revealed how it took her "ninety minutes" to get ready. Daniel referred to it as "Art needs time."

Referring to her "looks" Hanni mentioned:

"The background actually is, I mean, it was a big topic here, my looks. But I know I'm often too much and I was just looking for a sort of acceptance and not after the first reunion, "Oh, she's like that." "

On the other hand, Daniel mentioned how he has always said, "Love is blind," however the "whole thing" requires "physical attraction." He recalled their first reveal during the Love is Blind: Germany. He said that seeing Hanni from "far away" it felt like a "sun rising" because of her blonde hair.

Further on the social experiment's reunion episode, when the male host asked Daniel and Hanni about them being a "couple" or "friends," Daniel revealed:

"We're definitely not a couple currently. But we're also not just friends. We get along well. We're there for each other. We help each other out in situations. And that's the most important part. I think we currently have the freedom of not being filmed, not being told anything, not having thousands watching, pressuring us to say things. So let us enjoy that."

The female host referred to the "getting to know each other" part as a "beautiful thing." She also told the couple that according to her they were a "wonderful match." She added that she hoped that they would take the time they needed to get to know each other. She also mentioned the possibility of "just be friends" for Daniel and Hanni.

"Even then, you've gained through the experiment," shared the female host.

During the Love is Blind: Germany reunion, Hanni also faced criticism from fellow cast members. It includes Jen, Alina, and Ilias. Fans witnessed on the social experiment how Ilias, who is currently married to Alina, had feelings for Hanni.

Referring to his time with Hanni during the vacation phase, he and Alina criticized Hanni for her behavior. In response to that, Hanni mentioned that it was Alina who asked to "test" Ilias and "check" if he still had feelings for her, despite engaging with Alina.
