Love is Blind: Germany Reunion Recap - Hanni gets heat from Alina 

Love is Blind: Germany reunion recap released on Netflix on January 19, 2025, and brought back the cast members after 1 year of filming the first season. The episode kicks off with Steffi and Chris asking Alina and Ilias if they are still together after getting married on Love is Blind: Germany.

The couple, indeed, are still together and recently celebrated their first anniversary. The hosts then presented a montage of their relationship after Love is Blind: Germany and we see a lot of moments from their personal lives.

They talk about how reassuring it was for Alina to hear that Ilias loved her on the altar and gave her all the security she needed. Navigating the conversation with Hanni and Daniel, Steffi asked Hanni why she didn't use the love word with him.

Hanni reveals how she has been cheated on a lot in her relationships previously which makes it hard for her to say the words. However, she felt it for Daniel and he knew about it. Sally and Medina also share their emotional moments of how they opened up to each other and that is what brought them together.

Jen and Marcel are given a chance to discuss their intimacy issues and what did not work out between them. Jen claims that Marcel was trying to dim her light while Marcel says that he couldn't speak everything that was on his mind.

The conversation then moves over to Hanni and Daniel where Steffi reads comments from fans online who reacted to the way Hanni dressed. They claim that she dresses up for fame but Hanni shuts them down and says that she wears dresses that make her feel the best.

Love is Blind: Germany Reunion - Jen, Alina and Ilias accuse Hanni of badmouthing Daniel

Jen chimes in and supports Hanni's view about feeling confident. However, she takes the conversation to how Hanni "markets herself" and how her behavior was on Love is Blind: Germany. Alina says,

"You never talked positively about Daniel, which I'm sorry to say. You had a lot of negative things to say, so it doesn't fit with what you told us. And I'm very sorry for Daniel because I think he would've said yes. He had serious intentions to marry you, and I don't understand why he would do this."

Hanni denies ever talking bad about Daniel and even he is confused about the allegations and doesn't know if it is true. Soon, Ilias chimes in and claims that he had heard a FaceTime call about three months ago where Hanni was degrading Daniel by calling him a "loser" and a "puppy."

Hanni completely denies these allegations from Jen, Alina and Ilias. When Daniel was asked how he felt about the same, he said that he was confused because there were two sides to the story. Moving on from the topic, Steffi asks about her career and Hanni says that she has left real estate.

The hosts then aired some unseen footage for the fans where we can see that Ilias is infatuated with Hanni and according to Alina, "still has that door open." Alina claims that Hanni was "testing" Ilias' intentions for her but didn't report everything back to her and kept leading him on.

Denying the accusation, Hanni said that she was never interested in Ilias at all and he is not even her type. The hosts ask Hanni why did she not marry Daniel at the altar but she is already in tears by that time.

They decided to take a break and came back a bit later when Hanni had collected her thoughts well. She started by thanking Daniel for being there for her. As for their current relationship status, they are not a couple but "definitely more than friends."
