Netflix aired Love is Blind: Argentina’s fifth episode on November 13, 2024. It was aired in the second batch of episodes for the social experiment’s debut season. The fifth episode featured engaged couples spending more time together with their engaged connections.
The engaged couples also spent more time with other couples during the segment. After their time in the “honeymoon” phase, they moved to the next phase, where they were given apartments to live together.
For that, Roberto and Eva decided to part ways due to their differences, while the other four couples moved to the “living together” phase and went to Buenos Aires.
The fifth episode of Love is Blind: Argentina also featured two former participants who got engaged outside the experiment. The couple returned to the show later.
Love is Blind: Argentina Episode 5: Recap explored
The fifth episode of Love is Blind: Argentina, Trouble in Paradise featured engaged couples, including:
- Santiago and Emily
- Mauricio and María Emilia
- Tom and Florfi
- Ezequiel and Julieta
- Roberto and Eva.
Santiago and Emily argue about how the latter hugged another male cast member, Tom, when all the couples met earlier. The following day, Florfi and Tom shared how they have felt “safe” and “really at ease” with each other.
Ezequiel and Julieta had a double date on the yacht with Roberto and Eva. While Julieta and Ezequiel have been strengthening their bond, as Eva shared, she and Roberto were going through a “slower discovery process.”
Later, the girls had one-on-one talks in which they opened up to each other. Eva mentioned feeling intense and that she spent the process “challenging.”
Ezequiel mentioned how things have been good with Julieta, but the “cameras” have been problematic.
"I'm trying to take things slowly. I don't want to rush anything. One day at a time, and we'll see how it all pans out," confessed Ezequiel.
On the other hand, three engaged couples, Santiago-Emily, Mauricio-María Emilia, and Tom-Florfi, spent time together at a “picturesque” lagoon. They discussed their views on marriage, commitments, and relationships.
Later that evening, all the couples met as it was their last evening together for the “honeymoon” phase. They all played the “Never Have I Ever” drinking game and enjoyed it with interesting questions.
The following day on Love is Blind: Argentina, all the engaged couples had their last breakfast together during the honeymoon phase, as the hosts joined them and shared details about the next phase:
"Each couple will share an apartment in Buenos Aires. You'll return to your everyday routines and reconnect with friends and family," shared Wanda Nara.
All the couples packed their bags to move to the next phase of the social experiment. However, Mauricio shared how he was scared for what might come next, and another couple, Roberto and Eva, called things off as they didn’t want to continue their journey on the show.
"Maybe we just didn't have that chemistry, you know? The chemistry that has to be there for couples to work out," shared Robert.
Eva also shared that she didn’t think they could work their differences out by “living with each other.” Love is Blind: Argentina star confessed that she and Robert were incompatible.
Love is Blind: Argentina: Next phase - “Living together”
As the hosts mentioned, the couples moved to the next phase, where they would live together in Buenos Aires.
Emily called her sister, parents, cousins, and more family members and introduced Santiago, while he received a call from his mother and learned about his father’s health issue.
Mauricio and Maria decided not to share their experience with their family members because they felt it was important and couldn’t be done over the phone.
Love is Blind: Argentina couple Julieta and Ezequiel went to his apartment to get his clothes, which she was excited about. Florfi and Tom went through each other’s social media and learned more about each other. The duo also explored all the other participants they had met in the experiment on social media.
The next day, Florfi video called her mother, Sandra, with whom she shared a close bond, and introduced Tom. She asked the couple how they felt, and Tom mentioned it as a beautiful and positive experience.
Emily and Santiago discussed one of Santiago’s former connections, Agustina, who added him to her close friend’s list on Instagram. Later, Emily shared how another former contestant, Florencia, and Jose Luis, met after the experiment and were together, as she sent her a picture of the duo.
Love is Blind: Argentina Episode 5 ended with Florencia and Jose Luis joining the couples for the “living together” phase of the experiment.
