Rob gets released from prison
After waiting for seven long years, Tia’s love finally pays off, and she gets to live with her boyfriend Rob as he is released from prison. To greet Rob at the exit door of the prison, Love After Lockup's Tia books a suite close to the facility, big enough for Rob, his family, and herself to spend some time together.
As Rob walks out of the prison gates, the sight of Tia waiting for him brings a mix of emotions to the surface. Everybody exchanges heartfelt hugs and kisses before getting in the car to head back to the hotel.
On their way back to the suite, Tia and Rob can’t keep their hands off each other, as they have never met outside of prison. Now, they are too excited to be together after all these years.
Jakeema finds out about Donny's move
This episode of Love After Lockup brought a bucket full of bad news for Jakeema. While checking her mail, she discovers a letter from the authorities. Upon opening it, she finds a conduct report stating that Donny collaborated to procure unauthorized industrial drugs and sell them to the inmates. She also sees her name listed in the drug charge and learns that she has been removed from Donny’s visitor list.
She then tries to call the authorities to connect with Donny and find out why her name was involved in the charge sheets. However, the officer informs her that since she is not on Donny’s emergency contact list, he can’t give much information. He does, however, share news that leaves Jakeema spiraling—Donny is no longer in the same facility and has been moved. This revelation further upsets Jakeema.
