Five years after We TV's hit reality show Love After Lockup aired its second season, the lives of its cast members have taken rather dramatic turns. From fresh arrests to tragic losses and surprising love stories to business ventures, these former inmates and their partners have traveled very far from their reality TV days.

The show, which premiered in 2018, chronicles the love travels of newly freed inmates and their partners. Season 2 wowed audiences with its explosive combination of love triangles, secret marriages, and post-prison adjustments.

While some couples on Love After Lockup, such as Marcelino and Brittany, raised kids together before finally splitting up, others faced more significant obstacles, such as jail returns and, in one terrible case, an unexpected death. Here's a detailed look at where each cast member stands today.

Love After Lockup Season 2’s cast: What are they doing now?

Marcelino & Brittany

The couple who met through a "meet an inmate" program has since gone their separate ways. Brittany announced their separation on Instagram in June 2023, sharing a poignant reflection:

"This picture was taken during/shortly after the separation between Marcelino and I. No doubt was I deeply distressed and trying to hold it together for my children. It rained and then the sun shined that day every 30 minutes off and on all day long much like how I felt."

Brittany has since reconnected with her estranged children from previous teen pregnancies and launched Wonder Woman Commercial Cleaners, operating in Las Vegas and Orlando. Marcelino has chosen privacy, making his social media accounts private.

Megan & Michael & Sarah

This intricate trio's narrative is still unfolding. Sarah and Michael were still legally married in August 2023, but Sarah had moved on with a new lover called Ross. Michael made news in September for various criminal charges stemming from a Miami brawl. Megan is active on social media but keeps her distance from Sarah and Michael.

Andrea & Lamar

The couple known for their unconventional living arrangement faces new challenges. While Andrea's current status remains private behind locked social media accounts, she revealed in March 2023:

"I am... a prison wife again."

Court documents suggest Lamar has indeed returned to prison, though the specific charges remain unclear.

Clint & Tracie

This couple's story took a heartbreaking turn with Tracie's passing in July 2021, just one week after giving birth. According to her final messages, the couple had separated before her death. Clint has maintained silence online since 2022.

Cheryl & Josh

The woman who once expressed interest in dating serial killers has found a different path to love. Cheryl married Troy Patterson in March 2024. Meanwhile, Josh reportedly returned to prison, as revealed in a fan comment:

"Josh and Cheryl had a bad breakup, and Josh is currently incarcerated again. Cheryl found love with another inmate who is one of Josh's prison friends after an unsuccessful relationship in between."

Lacey & John & Shane

This love triangle dissolved completely, with both male participants landing back in jail – ironically, in the same facility. While Shane has since been released, John returned to Virginia Beach jail in September 2024 for violating probation.

Angela & Tony

The couple's rocky relationship finally ended in divorce in May 2023. Their split played out publicly on the Life Goes On post-show, where Angela labeled Tony "stupid," while he complained about feeling controlled. Angela's final word on Instagram didn't mince words:

"I wish that POS nothing but pure happiness."

Life after being on Reality TV for the Love After Lockup cast

Season 2 of Love After Lockup captures the complicated nature of relationships that begin behind bars. Five years later, none of the original couples remain together. While some cast members like Brittany have found success in business and family reconciliation, others face ongoing struggles with the law.

The season's legacy includes one tragic loss, multiple returns to prison, and several fresh starts. Despite Love After Lockup's entertainment value, these real-life outcomes highlight the genuine challenges of maintaining relationships while navigating post-prison life.

Yet it's not all darkness – several cast members have found new relationships, career opportunities, and chances at redemption. Their journeys continue to captivate viewers of Love After Lockup, proving that the path to stability after incarceration is rarely straight but always compelling.

Love After Lockup: Crime Story will debut on We TV on February 7 and stream exclusively on AMC's ALLBLK platform.
