"Long, thick hair" - Love is Blind Sweden's Ola reaffirms his ideal partner traits

Love is Blind Sweden season 2 dropped new episodes on March 20, 2025, on Netflix and it brought the situation between Milly and Ola in a fresh light. The two are still having issues with their looks, and Ola is not ready to let go because she has short hair and is comfortable with it.

As he has said multiple times after seeing her, long hair was the one attribute that he wished his partner to have.

However, till this point in Love is Blind episode 5, it feels like he has been holding back because he might face backlash from the fans. As for Milly, she has cleared it upfront that growing her hair out is not on the cards for her.

In the episode, we see the couple sitting outside in the sun with Niklas and Karin and they are discussing their respective relationships.

When asked about what their biggest issue at this point is, Ola confirmed that it is the physical traits of Milly that are holding him back. This is yet another time that he has let these issues resurface. Talking about the same, he said,

"I only have one physical attribute that I look for and it's long, thick hair... You can almost turn it around that I didn't imagine her having short hair."

Sitting down with Niklas and Karin on Love is Blind, the two appreciated how Ola and Milly can communicate their feelings easily and it is not an issue for them. This is when Ola brought up the hair issue. Replying to his notions, Milly said that "it's not even an option" for her to grow her hair out. She expressed,

"Hair is not important to me. Three years ago I shaved it all off. I just thought, 'Let's get rid of it.' ... But also when I did it, I never felt as feminine as when I was without hair, which is really interesting. I mean, I'm confident that this is how I should look."

Niklas asks Ola if this is their "biggest" problem and if it is, then everything seems to be going pretty well between them. However, Nikals was soon proved wrong later in the episode when more of their issues popped up.

Ola seems to think that people who consume alcohol, cola, or cigarettes, are coming from a point of insecurity. The episode saw the couples leave their blissful time in Crete, Greece, and move into an apartment complex to spend time together in the real world and find out if they are compatible with each other or not.

At the end of Love is Blind, Ola and Milly are lying in bed together and she points out her unhealthy eating habits such as french fries and drinking cola instead of water. She said that her dad jokes about cutting her open and finding nothing but french fries.

Ola said that all of this makes him uncomfortable because according to him, addiction is synonymous with insecurity. He also doesn't like that Milly smokes but denying that she is a chain smoker, she established smoking a vape only at times when she drinks.

He was still not okay with it all and even said that he would not apologize for his remarks. This left the couple in a weird position with Ola making remarks about Milly's hair, eating, drinking, and smoking habits.
