The cast of the supernatural crime thriller School Spirits has shared their thoughts about the upcoming Season 2 finale hinting at plot twists. The Paramount+ supernatural drama which premiered its second season continues to delve into the story of Maddie Nears (Peyton List), a high school student navigating the afterlife and investigating her supposed death.

In the ScreenRant interview, Kiara Pichardo who plays Maddie's best friend Nicole seemingly hinted at twists in her response after she was asked whether twists in the Season 2 finale will match up to Season 1. She said,

"Higher. Maybe we shouldn't put the exception so high and then let them watch. It's okay. (laughs) We want you guys to watch it on the edge of your seat."

This remark suggests that the finale of School Spirits Season 2 will have gripping twists. Continuing the same narrative, Ventura added that even the most dedicated viewers will struggle to guess the twist. She said,

" Think about the worst thing that could happen, and then worse than that."

With School Spirits known for its unpredictable storyline Season 2 will have major twists that could reshape the plot. School Spirits Season 1 ended with a twist that Maddie was not dead instead her body was taken over by Janet Hamilton's (Jess Gabor) soul. Season 2 has expanded on this topic and dived deeper into Janet's history along with the role played by villainous Mr. Martin, the school therapist.

School Spirits Season 2 has introduced new cast members and has raised many questions about the afterlife of spirits. Throughout the season Maddie is seen on her journey to unravel the truth behind her soul being transferred to Janet. The cast opened up about the show in the interview with Screenrant.

Kristina Ventura who plays Simon stated that guessing the finale twist would be impossible. He said,
