"Let him gooooooooo!!" - Love Is Blind fans urge Lauren to leave "insecure" Dave

Love is Blind dropped new episodes on February 21, 2025, and it showed the next step of the relationship for all the couples who have been blissfully spending their time away from the real world in Honduras.

The couples shifted to an apartment complex in Minneapolis and were handed their phones back to connect with their friends and family and live their lives with their fiancés.

Lauren and Dave, however, are not in a good place right now because of her past that has resurfaced recently. He got to know about Lauren's past "friends with benefits" relationship that she broke off from before coming into the pods.

According to fans, he has been stretching the whole deal too much as it is not supported to be that serious.

Also, it has been hurting Lauren every time that they talk about it as she said in episode 9 while the topic resurfaced even in front of her friends. She is unable to understand why is this such a big deal to him.

Taking her side and advising her to leave Dave because he is just trying to "milk" the situation so he would have a reason to break up, Love is Blind fans have expressed their feeling on Twitter.

One user wrote,

Another fan talked about how it does not matter if Lauren was with someone else and Dave does not need to be "validated." Expressing their opinion, the fan said,

"I don’t care if Lauren was having mindblowing s*x 10 minutes before she came to LIB, leave that damn girl alone. Imagine having to f**king validate a grown a*s man who already clowned women over 30 in the first 5 minutes of the show. Goodbye."

Sympathizing with Lauren and how she is trying everything in her power to save the relationship with Dave, another Love is Blind fan wrote,

"the way dave is making my girl lauren emotionally DISTRESSED and upset u can tell she is so lost and trying to do anything in her power; being open and vocal abt stuff.. meanwhile he isnt into her but doesnt wanna look bad on tv so he is milking this hook up thing.."

"Back to Love is Blind: this Dave guy is going to drive Lauren to insanity because he’s now holding it over her about a damn hook up. And if Lauren had more self esteem she’d leave, because I think Dave is still stuck on molly hence this behaviour," expressed another fan on Twitter.

Love is Blind - What is making Dave question the relationship with Lauren?

Lauren and Dave met in the pods on Love is Blind. While he was connected to her, Dave was also dating Molly at the same time and trying to figure out whom to choose. By the end of it, Lauren had given an ultimatum to him and he ended up proposing to her.

After the couple left for Honduras, new issues arrived as Dave revealed to his friends that the two had not established physical intimacy yet. He also complained about how she gets up after every hour to use the restroom.

Later in the apartments, the biggest roadblock that Dave is facing towards his feelings for her is how his sister knows the guy whom Lauren had relations with. Even he has met the guy a couple of times and has mutual connections. They have all told him that Lauren had met with him right before she entered the pods.

Dave has doubts that Lauren might be in a relationship coming into the Love is Blind experience. However, she has tried making it clear to him that she had no feelings, whatsoever, for the guy in question.

Even Lauren's friends tried to convince Dave that nothing was going on but he is still skeptical. Dave says that he does not know if he should trust her or not, over his friends and sister, whom he thinks are just "looking out" for him.
