The first trailer for LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition has finally come out, and Lego Marvel enthusiasts must pay attention! The Avengers are in a tough spot and only Dennis or D-Man can save them. This special marks the tenth installment under Lego and Marvel's partnership, and will take viewers on a new adventure in New York City.
LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition comes right after LEGO Marvel Avengers: Code Red, which was released last year in October. The film had the beloved Avengers triumphing over Hydra, but their celebration didn't last long. Black Widow's father Red Guardian goes missing and the superheroes' new quest begins. Little did they know that Red Guardian wasn't the only one missing, and encountered a new villain like never before.
The Avengers successfully defeated The Collector and rescued Red Guardian and other heroes whose names began with "Red". The film ended with the mighty heroes' another win and their union.
However, their peace didn't last long as always, and now the Avengers will face another foe, who's basically an evil superhero. But this time, there has to be a hero to save them and ensure their safety. LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition brings you a not-so-ordinary worker from Damage Control, set to face off against a formidable villain.
When will LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition come out?
Fans are just a few days apart from witnessing Dennis transforming into D-Man, as LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition will arrive on October 18, 2024, only on Disney+. Make sure to mark your calendars so that you can enjoy the marvelous journey on the first day of its release.
What is the plot of LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition
As mentioned above, Dennis is the focus of LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition, a Damage Control worker who accidentally releases an enemy who wants to eliminate Avengers from the universe. As seen in Marvel comics, Damage Control is a famous fictionalized construction company that helps in cleaning up after the Avengers engage in tough battles.
The story begins with Dennis, a famous and humorous worker at the company who is fond of superheroes. He's young and aspires to become a great personality in his life. However, little did Dennis know that his dream would soon come true when he intentionally freed a terrifying foe known as Terrax.
As seen in the trailer, he says "No more Avengers" with Dennis informing that the superheroes have been captured. Following the chaos in New York City, Dennis decides to become D-Man (Demolition Man) since he's good at demolishing things. As the trailer comes to an end, Dennis asks if his superhero name is interesting, to which Wolverine says "It ain't good" adding to the comedic touch of the special.
Who are the characters and voice actors in LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition?
The trailer featured the fan-favorite traditional Avengers except Hawkeye, who is replaced by Black Panther. The Marvel characters set to appear in LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition include Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain America (both Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson), Black Widow, and Hulk.
Following the Avengers in trouble, D-Man will join forces with iconic X-Men characters Wolverine and Gambit.
