Carolina and Grant, on The Bachelor Season 29, Episode 5, spent time together on a group date. However, Carolina was not happy about it because she wanted alone time with him. During the date, Grant was set up with Zoe, Sarafiena, Carolina, Alexa, and Dina.

The group was invited to a royal celebration, where they dressed up in traditional cultural attire to honor the occasion. Activities such as dancing and games took up most of their time, but Carolina was visibly unhappy.

What she did next was dubbed "The Carolina Show" by fans, as she stirred up drama to get Grant’s attention. This time, she spent the entire day in a sour mood, prompting Grant to pull her aside and reassure her.

However, the other women were displeased, as they felt the group date was meant for everyone to spend time with the bachelor, not just Carolina.

This incident also damaged her friendship with Dina, who had previously supported her in the last episode but spoke out against her behavior this time. The Bachelor fans also criticized Carolina, claiming she always does something to remain the center of attention.

A fan wrote on Twitter,

"well well well looks like another episode of The Carolina Show just started. In this episode, Carolina realizes (again) she is indeed on the TV show The Bachelor where the lead dates multiple women and just not her."
"Carolina is not interesting enough to have this show centered on her as the villain. Pretty tired of having to watch her alternate between pouty and crying or smug and disinterested," said another fan.

Reflecting on how Carolina created so much drama this season only to be sent home at the end, another fan tweeted,

"Carolina did all that to not even get the hometowns rose."
"Grant spending all that time hyping Carolina up to stay just to skip her in the rose ceremony. Why do I feel like he wasted MY time and I wasn’t even there lol," wrote a fan on Twitter.

The Bachelor Season 29 Episode 5 - The Carolina Show

As the group date progressed on the latest episode of The Bachelor, Carolina's mood became increasingly sour, reflecting her disappointment with the date set. She isolated herself, making it clear she was unhappy with the setup. This led Grant to seek her out and ask if she was alright.

During their conversation, Carolina opened up about how she was constantly being labeled as "dramatic," which made her feel bad about herself. She asked Grant not to see her that way, emphasizing that her journey had been difficult.

Meanwhile, the other women were frustrated with Carolina’s behavior yet again. Even Dina, who had previously supported her, called her out.

As for Grant, he reassured Carolina of their strong connection, asking her to trust him so they could move past their issues. His words comforted her, and she rejoined the group. However, Dina claimed that Carolina had purposely acted out so Grant would comfort her.

By the end of the episode, just before the Rose Ceremony, Carolina pulled Dina aside to apologize. The two made amends, but her journey on The Bachelor was ultimately cut short. Grant decided to eliminate Carolina by not giving her a rose, instead choosing to save Dina.

New episodes of The Bachelor Season 29 air weekly on Mondays at 8 PM Eastern Time on ABC. Episodes can also be streamed later on Hulu.
