Landman Season 1 Episode 4 brings many personal and professional twists and turns for Tommy Norris.
The episode reveals how Tommy and Angela still love each other, but his commitment to his work keeps them apart.
While Tommy is not ready to compromise on his work and will remain unavailable, Angela wants to get back together because she loves him dearly. Their marriage failed not because they stopped loving each other but because of the oil crisis.
Elsewhere, Tommy is saved by Rebecca, who represents him and fights other attorneys to reach a settlement with the Landman.

Rebecca saves Tommy in Landman Season 1 Episode 4
After their intense discussion about wind turbines, during which Tommy was highly critical of Rebecca, it seemed almost impossible that she would save him from the blame. But to everyone's surprise, Rebecca proves her prowess as an attorney and saves Tommy Norris.
She represented TTP and fought the attorneys to settle with Tommy and the M-Tex Oil Company. Tommy was highly impressed by this kind gesture and asked her to join him for a beer. The two got together for drinks at The Patch Cafe.
Angela and Tommy's marriage gets a second chance in Landman Season 1 Episode 4
After they were denied entry into a club because of a 'private event,' Angela and Ainsely also landed in the same cafe where Tommy was having drinks with Rebecca. Angela gets jealous after seeing Tommy with a young woman, even when they are no longer together.
Making the perfect dinner conversation at the cafe, she recounted how they lost everything when the oil prices crashed, which led to the family's emotional and financial falling. Tommy was clearly not happy about this topic and left the cafe.
After settling into a company house, Ainsley confronted her father about their separation, and Angela suggested patching up to the Landman. Tommy hesitated Angela's offer because he was not ready to sacrifice his profession.
Angela was, however, adamant about making things work for a second time, as this would also mean that she would get to spend more time with their daughter. While Tommy still doesn't think it is a good idea, he agrees because he knows they love each other.
Cooper proves his worth in Landman Season 1 Episode 4
While Cooper's first stint was tragic, he is settling in with the Boss' new crew. After an accident leaves Antonio injured, Dale Bradley wants the dead oil well working at the scheduled time.
Cooper replaces Antonio and completes his work on time. The well was up and running, increasing the company's numbers. Tommy learns from Boss that his son stepped in to make the well work.
Cooper receives an unknown call, which turns out to be Ariana, Elvio's widow. She had found comfort in Cooper's friendship before and wanted a distraction after attending her husband's wake. While her cousin has warned Cooper not to form any relationship with her, Cooper agrees to meet up with her. Can this be the beginning of a new romantic relationship?
