“Kind of happened organically:” Southern Hospitality star Joe Bradley opens up about his relationship with Maddi Reese

Southern Hospitality season 3 concluded with cast members Emmy Sharrett, Joe Bradley, Leva Bonaparte, Bradley Carter, Maddi Reese, Michols Peña, Mia Alario, TJ Dinch, Grace Lilly, Lake Rucker, Austin Stephan, and Molly Moore joining show host Andy Cohen to address the conflicts.

Cast member Joe Bradley, who is dating Maddi Reese, opened up about his relationship as well as his thoughts on the reunion in a conversation with US Weekly on March 8, 2025. According to Bradley, sustaining a relationship being part of the reality TV world can be a difficult task, and he has seen couples struggle with public opinion.

However, for the Southern Hospitality cast member, things are different when it comes to his connection with Maddi. Bradley predicted they would eventually get engaged while stating Maddi is "the one" for him. While reflecting on other reality TV couples' bonds, Bradley shared why his and Maddi's connection was different. He said:

“I think we’re a special case because we were best friends before the show, and I think it wasn’t forced. Timing was in our favor and it kind of happened organically.”

Southern Hospitality star Joe Bradley reveals future plans with Maddi Reese

In his interview, the Southern Hospitality star shared that being a couple on a reality TV show can be "a little daunting" with the public opinions and outside interference. However, Bradley is confident about his relationship with Maddi Reese and can see a future with her.

He also talked about prioritizing his future over his reality TV career. Bradley explained:

“I looked at her, I’m like, ‘Hey, if it ever gets too complicated, I choose you over a TV 1,000 times out of 1,000 [times].' Whatever makes her comfortable and happy, I’m going to do that. There’s one thing I’m not scared of or any doubt in, [and] it’s our relationship

Later in the interview, he discussed what the next stage of their relationship would be. Bradley stated he knew Maddi was the one for him and could envision a future together. The Southern Hospitality star also mentioned he was ready to get engaged to Maddi but didn't know exactly when. Bradley continued:

“I think I kind of got a little ahead of myself with a one-year plan, because it’s hard for me and Maddi to even have a one-week plan because everything changes. She’s DJing. Someone could call and be like, ‘Hey, we need you to DJ.’ And two days later [she’s there].”

Bradley admitted that both of their lives were impacted by the fame and the pros and cons that come with being reality TV stars. He concluded the conversation:

“We’re never going to be that couple that has a five-year plan, but my plan is just to keep doing what we’re doing and being happy and I know I’m going to propose. I just don’t know when. No one’s going to lock down Maddi Reese. No, she’ll lock me down. I will not lock her down.”
