TLC aired 1000-Lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 2 on April 22, 2025. The second episode saw Tammy opening up to her close friend and confiding in him about her dating life. The female cast member, who previously revealed herself as pan sexual, stated that she is dating a woman.

Talking to her close friend, Tammy said that she has been talking to this "girl" and that she has been "kind of" falling for her. However, the 1000-Lb Sisters star admitted she was "scared a lot." She was talking about her family members, unaware she was dating a woman.

Tammy mentioned that she was fine with being "herself" around her sister Amy, but not with the rest of her family.

"But the older three is, I know they love me and I love them, don't get me wrong, I feel like I can't be my....myself, like I can't cut free. You know my family. They're rough," she said.

Tammy's close friend agreed with her and said they were "rough." In her private confessional, the female cast member stated that the girl she was dating was Andrea and wanted to meet her family. However, her older siblings:

"They can be hit or miss with something, sometimes."

After Tammy confided in her close friend, he advised her to find what "really" made her happy and told her to do that. He told Tammy that if Andrea made her happy, she should "totally" go for her.

"You get to find out what really makes you happy, and if she what makes you happy, then totally go for it," he said.
