Kids Baking Championship: Frosting the Snowman is back with its holiday special, where little bakers head to the 'North Pole' to bake some delicious gifts for snowmen, elves, and gingerbread men.

The show will air on Food Network on December 2, 2024, at 9 pm ET/PT. This marks the 14th installment of the holiday special series.

Four Santa's helpers will enter the Kids Baking Championship: Frosting the Snowman episode to make treats for the underappreciated North Poles and win seasonal baking equipment and goods worth $10,000.

Along with this holiday special one-hour episode, Duff Goldman will host an entire season, which will air in early 2025.

Hosts of Kids Baking Championship: Frosting the Snowman

Leading the contestants are Kardea Brown, the new co-host and star of Delicious Miss Brown, and fan-favorite Duff Goldman, known for his humor and cake-decorating skills. This dynamic duo blends warmth, quirk, and deep baking knowledge to create the perfect atmosphere for this festive season.

The previous co-host of the show alongside Duff Goldman since 2015, Valerie Bertinelli, went on The Drew Barrymore Show on November 4, where they discussed Kids Baking Championship: Frosting the Snowman.

This is where Drew Barrymore introduced the new host of the show while having a conversation with the author of the cookbook Indulge,

“Val, you were the host of the Kids Baking Championship.”

To which the Hot in Cleveland star replied with honor,

“And it’s now in excellent hands."

Later in the show, when Barrymore asks Brown how Kids Baking Championship: Frosting the Snowman is going, she replies,

“Oh my gosh, it is so fun. It’s a pleasure. It’s a blessing.”

Further, Barrymore asks Bertinelli,

“Val, what was your favorite thing about being on that show?”
“The kids.”

Replies Bertinelli.

Adding to the conversation, Brown talks about her childhood,

“When I was 10 and 12 I wasn’t worried about baking.”
“When I was 12 you don’t want to know what I was doing.”

Adds Drew Barrymore, enjoying her catfish taco.

In a video shared by Bertinelli in January 2024 on her Instagram, she announced her leaving the Kids Baking Championship.

In the video, she expressed:

"I've been avoiding facing what I got confirmation of last night, and I didn't want to talk about it last night. I wanted to sleep on it."
"It really hurt my feelings. It really sucks."

Later, she mentioned she was let go of the show because of the budget constraints, saying:

"I know it's not supposed to. Logically, I know it's business. Budget cuts, right? But it really hurt my feelings to know that I'm not going to be asked back to be on 'Kids Baking Championship."

She added:

"So it really hurts that I won't be able to go back and see everybody. Hey, I made it through."

Brown and Goldman will make their first appearances as co-hosts on the holiday special episode of Kids Baking Championship: Frosting the Snowman.
