Shark Tank investor Daymond John is one of the sharks who promotes empowering new entrepreneurs. He is also the author of best-selling books like The Power of Broke, Rise and Grind, and Little Daymond Learns to Earn. John is the CEO of The Shark Group and is the National Brand Ambassador for the American Cancer Society as per his official ABC bio.
Additionally, he has promoted encouraging new artists by supporting their art and spreading the word about it. Shark Tank investor Daymond John posted an Instagram reel on his official account which was a glimpse into his conversation with NYC-based surrealist artist Hathairat Maneerat.
During their discussion, Daymond agreed with Maneerat, who said that the new emerging artists were struggling despite putting their soul into each project. She mentioned that rich influential and powerful people have the ability to change someone's life and should support small artists.
John also addressed how most wealthy people buy art that is made by people who have already passed away. He talked about the importance of supporting small artists, he continued:
"I keep telling people that but people just don't know any different, they don't know, they're not thinking. They're just trying to put something in their home now realizing way more affordable, and you're young enough where you'll be able to keep creating beauty for people, and not waiting for you to die."
