The Challenge All Stars: Rivals Season 5 Episode 4 aired on February 19, 2025, on MTV. The fifth season of the reality show features 26 participants competing against each other to win a $300,000 prize pot.

The fourth episode of the competition show featured an elimination task. It was between Aneesa Ferreira and Ashley Mitchell against Adam Larson and Steve Meinke.

During the task's second round, Ashley was in the defensive position; where she had to prevent water from filling the tank. However, she couldn't see anything during the task because she opted not to wear the goggles. She struggled throughout the round and could be seen trying to see, but she failed.

The Challenge All Stars: Rivals Season 5 Episode 4: Ashley and Aneesa vs. Adam and Steve

The host invited Adam Larson and Steve Meinke, who had volunteered for the elimination task. He then asked Amber Borzotra and Faysal Shafaat if they would go against Adam and Steve or choose someone else to compete.

Faysal mentioned that Aneesa Ferreira and Ashley Mitchell would compete against Adam and Steve. Aneesa confessed that "Fessy" was supposed to be her friend; however, she hadn't heard even "one word" from him.

As the host, TJ Lavin, explained the task, one would be an offensive player, while the other would be defensive.

"The offensive players will take their place on top of the structure and use a hose to fill their own tank. The defensive players will be stationed below in their opponent's tank. And they will use a star shield to block as much water as they can from getting in."

He further mentioned:

"Every time I blow the horn you'll switch position for three rounds. At the end of it all whoever has more water in their tanks will win tonight's elimination and stay in the game, and they will be walking out of here with a star."

At first, The Challenge All Stars: Rivals star Ashley was on top of the structure, at an offensive place, while Aneesa was in the tank.

Later, during the second round, when it was Ashley's turn to stay in the tank and prevent water from filling it, she decided to ditch her goggles.

"I guess I'm not gonna wear this thing bro," stated Ashley.

When the task started and water started flowing from above, she yelled that she couldn't see anything. Witnessing her struggle, fellow player Da'Vonne Rogers asked where her goggles were.

The Challenge All Stars: Rivals star Veronica also told the cameras that she didn't know what Ashley was thinking by opting not to wear goggles. As the task ended, Adam and Steve's tank could be visibly seen with a higher water level, resulting in their win and Aneesa and Ashley's elimination.
