"Just another day": Shark Tank's Daymond John discusses memorizing credit card numbers and GPS with his wife

Shark Tank's Daymond John and his wife, Heather, shared a funny clip via their Instagram on February 9, 2025. Daymond chimed in on the subject while his wife was discussing how she had memorized her credit card numbers.

Soon, as they discussed that, their daughter, Minka Jagger John, popped some balloons, shocking the Shark Tank mentor. Witnessing him getting scared, his wife burst into laughter, and later on, he re-joined the conversation.

The duo posted the video clip with the caption:

"As @thesharkdaymond would say "You can take the man out of the hood but" @minkajaggerjohn popped a balloon and all that Mister cool Shark Tank vibe went right out the window. Just another day in the John household."

Shark Tank mentor Daymond John loses his "cool" after his daughter Minka pops balloons

The clip starts with Daymond John's wife, Heather, stating that he asked her about the credit cards because:

"He didn't have it in front of him and he thinks it's kind of interesting that I memorize all my credit card numbers. I think that that's pretty normal. I don't know ladies help me out. Do you memorize your credit card numbers or is this like- - "

Soon, her husband, Daymond John, joined and stated why anybody would "memorize" their credit card numbers. He shared that:

"Why would anybody...anybody why would you...you know, like because of like GPS people only memorize where to go anymore because they...they know they can depend on the GPS and the credit card - - "

Before he could finish, he jumped out of the conversation after listening to loud popping sounds. Soon, he realized their daughter, Minka, was popping balloons.

"What's going on, Minka? What are you doing over there? We moved out of the hood," said John.

While he jumped out of the conversation and went to see what all that noise was, his wife couldn't stop laughing. Soon, he returned to the video when his wife asked if they could finish the conversation.

After getting almost a jump-scar, the Shark Tank mentor said, "Can't be popping balloons over here," while Heather still couldn't stop laughing. Stating how, despite being a 56-year-old individual, he was shocked after hearing the balloons popping, he stated:

"I don't care if I'm 56."

When she asked what he was talking about, Daymond responded that he didn't know "anymore."

Shark Tank fans who follow Daymond John must know he is fun-loving. In another recently shared video, he shared his choice of outfits for particular occasions and meetings. It was about the kind of "hats" he wears while meeting kids and how his wife questioned him about his choices.

He talked about how he wants to be "perceived publicly," and based on that, he chose specific kinds of outfits for that. He mentioned that while "dealing with the art of children," he likes to wear "top hats." Further, for the outdoors, he chose a "more dystopian look" and also an "old school look."
