In the October 23 episode of Jeopardy!, fans witnessed the returning champion Will Wallace making the right moves, while Sophia Maymudes and Brett Kelly gave him tough competition. The categories for the first round were versatile and all over the spectrum, meaning players had to use their skills and strategies to bring out their best. Will Wallace started the round with a Literary Titles clue for $600 and took three chances from the same category. However, Sophia gave him a good run in the middle of the round while Brett was yet to kick off his A game.
By maintaining her lead, Sophia was successful in winning the first round with $6,200. Will trailed her in second place with $4,400. For Brett, it was a sinking boat at the end of the first round, as he had a negative amount of -$1,200 at the end of the Jeopardy round.

What happened in Double Jeopardy on the October 23 episode?
Will Wallace, a game design director from Austin and a former champion battled it out for his spot with Brett Kelly, an actor from Surrey, and Sophia, a software engineer from Seattle.

Brett stood at $0 and had to leave the competition after the second round. Will with $10,800 and Sophia with $2,800 entered the Final Jeopardy round. The category for the October 23 Final Jeopardy round was 'The Roman Catholic Church,' and the clue read:
"This day involving the Holy Spirit & the Apostles is sometimes described as the “birthday” of the church"
For the Final Jeopardy round, both players could not come up with the right answers, and as Will had the lead, he won the October 23, 2024, episode with the final amount of $10,000. Fans will witness the game designer again on the October 24 episode of Jeopardy!
