This episode featured returning champion, Adam Hersh, and newbies, Kevin Laskowski, and Carolyn Gramling. All three contestants showed amazing gameplay and Adam took home another win.
Jeopardy! is a trivia competition in which contestants from across the country get on the stage to win cash prizes by demonstrating their knowledge and expertise in different categories. The show's host for this season, Ken Jennings, offers clues in three different rounds based on which the contestants have to find a correct answer. The one with the highest earnings by the end of the day wins.

Adam Hersh
After winning $29,000 on November 22, Adam Hersh came back as a returning champion to attempt to continue his streak. Adam is an attorney from Brooklyn, New York, and has shown remarkable expertise on the recent episode of Jeopardy!
However, Adam failed to continue his streak yesterday. Even though he won the first round with a total of $5,800, he lost $3,000 when he answered a Daily Double incorrectly, affecting his overall earnings. He recovered the amount in the Final Jeopardy by answering the question correctly and adding $7,100. His total of $14,300 still wasn't enough for him to take the win home and landed him in second place.
Kevin Laskowski
An episcopal priest from Falls Church, Virginia, Kevin Laskowski took home the win on the November 25, 2024 episode of Jeopardy! Since the beginning of the episode, Kevin started fine with a total of $2,800.
Although he was behind Adam, he answered a Daily Double correctly adding $3,000 to his earnings. Even after answering the Final Jeopardy incorrectly, Kevin won with a total of $15,200 and defeated Adam by just $900.
Carolyn Gramling
Carolyn Gramling, another contestant on yesterday's episode of Jeopardy!, is a science writer, originally from Washington, DC. Even with all her knowledge and calculated risk, Carolyn ended up in third place after winning $300.
In the Jeopardy round, Gramling was able to make $1,200 and in the next round, she increased her earnings to $5,600. However, the Final Jeopardy didn't turn out in her favor. Carolyn lost $5,300 leaving her with only $300 and third place.
Final Jeopardy Clue and Answer on November 25 Episode of Jeopardy!
For the Final Jeopardy, the category picked was "19th Century Novels," for which the clue was,
"The mention of a new railway section between Rothal & Allahabad in India leads to an argument & then a bet in this novel."
The correct answer to the clue was,
"What is Around the World in Eighty Days?"
The novel, Around the World in Eighty Days, was written by Jule Verne and was first published in 1872 in French. The clue indicates the argument that the protagonist, Phileas Fogg, after reading an article in a newspaper that claimed that a person in his 80s could travel the world because of excellent Indian railways. This argument ended up with Fogg making a bet hooping on the trains to travel.
Kevin Laskowski won $15,200 on the November 25 episode of Jeopardy! and became the champion.
