Final Jeopardy question and solution on Jeopardy! November 21, 2024 Episode
The category for the 'Final Jeopardy' on the November 21st episode was "International Universities."
The question asked to the contestants was,
"Following student unrest in 1968, in 1970 the University of this city was divided into 13 smaller ones."
The correct answer to this clue was "University of Paris."
This refers to May 1968, a significant period in French history. This was when workers went on strike, and students started protesting across France. It had connections with international movements, such as opposition to the Vietnam War.
The protest escalated, and the University of Paris had to go under reconstruction in 1970. This was when it was divided into '13 smaller' universities. This division included Sorbonne University and Panthéon.
It was only Jack Altman who answered this question correctly. However, he still couldn't make it to the top of the scoreboard. He finished in second place by increasing his earnings from $7,400 to $9,801.
With his strategic gameplay, Mehal Shah won the first two rounds and lost $1,337 by answering incorrectly with "Beijing." By the end of the day, Mehal won with $36,263 in his pocket.
He made $46,062 in two days, November 20th and 21st.
Mehal Shah became a second-day champion and won $46,062 on Jeopardy! November 21, 2024 episode.
