As the round progressed, the audience learned a little more about the players. Sam who is a finance manager from North Dakota used to work as a bartender "with a secret". He revealed that he used to name his drinks after moth species. Julie who is an Attorney from Virginia was once a neighbour of the Royalty, Prince Willams and Princess Kate in London.
The returning champion Greg, a system accountant by profession from New Hampshire had applied for Jeopardy! earlier and got out because of a "proverb".

Following the initial break. Sam was trying his hardest to catch up with the other two players because he was falling behind. Greg kept a good advantage, and during the round, he stumbled upon a Double Daily and bet $2000, then after a nerve-wracking moment, he gave the right answer.
At the conclusion of the last round, Greg was in the lead with $7,400. Sam reached the second position with $4,400, while Julie remained at the bottom with $3,000.
Ken announced the categories for the Double Jeopardy round without wasting any time. The categories for the second round were:
"On The Maps// Reptiles// Classical Musicians// Among The Top British Baby Names// Prime Numbers On TV// 6-Letter Synonym Pairs"
During the Double Jeopardy round, Sam demonstrated her expertise in "Reptiles" while trying to catch up to Greg, the current leader. Unfortunately, when he encountered a Daily Double, he was unable to take advantage of it, resulting in a loss of $5000 and falling further behind.
Nevertheless, he quickly regained his composure and closed in on the front once more. Greg hit the next Daily Double and, after giving the correct answer, he increased his total by $6000, putting him in a significant lead.
As the second round ended, Greg was at the top with $23,000. Sam followed him with $13,000, and Julie remained at the bottom again, with $6,600. Kem announced the category, "History and The Movies" for the Final Jeopardy round. The clue for the Final Jeopardy round was:
"This 1935 Best Picture Oscar winner tells of a 1789 event near the isolated Pacific volcano of Tofua."
Greg Jolin won the Friday episode with the final amount of $26,000 as he was the only one to come up with the right answer.
Julie wagered all but $2 and Sam wagered $10,001 dropping down to $2,999 as his total. The right answer for the Final Jeopardy reads:
"What is Mutiny on the Bounty?'”
