Jeopardy! December 6, 2024 — Winner, clues, and more

In another episode of Jeopardy!, returning champion, Dave Bond is ready to come back for the third time after he took home the win on Dec 6, 2024. After banking a total of $26,400, Dave's two-day total now is $51,400.

Jeopardy! is one of the most watched and renowned quiz competitions, not just in the States but across the globe. Each 20-25-minute episode is divided into three rounds full of different categories, intriguing clues, and more. The first round is the Jeopardy round, the next is Double Jeopardy, and the day ends with the Final Jeopardy.

This Friday, the show welcomed back Dave Adams who made a comeback after defeating Lisa and Stevie on Dec 5. Joining him was Zach DeBoer from North Carolina, and Erin Adams from Tennessee.

Here is everyone who went head-to-head to make it to the next episode of Jeopardy!

Dave Bond

Dave Bond, a retired grand writer from West Henrietta, New York returned to compete for more money. Dave left behind everyone last night and won the day by a good margin. By the end of the day, he was able to bring his total to $26,400.

Erin Adams

Erin is a historian and educator from Springfield, Tennessee. Erin had a rocky start yesterday and she failed to pick up. After all three rounds, Erin's total came to $20,000 landing her in second place.

Zach DeBoer

A grad student from Winston-Salem, North Carolina ended up being at the bottom of the leaderboard after winning a total of $10,000.

Final Jeopardy Clue and Answer on Jeopardy! December 6, 2024

Yesterday's clue for the Final Jeopardy round was "TV Characters." The card on the screen displayed the following clue,

"On TV in the 1960s & the 2020s, this character has a first name that’s partly from Latin for “death”"

While Zach ended up guessing 'Moriarity', the correct answer was what Erin and Dave gave,

"What is Morticia Addams?"

The clue focused on the Latin word, "mors" or "mortis" which means "death." Morticia is the main character on The Addams Family, a show which aired in the 1960s. The show has had several adaptations over the years, one of which was in the 2020s in live-action as well as animated format.

Jeopardy Round Stats

After the first round, Dave ended with $8,400 after guessing 10 correct answers. Following him was Zack with $6,000 with 12 correct and 1 incorrect answer and Erin with $4,800 with right guesses.

Double Jeopardy Round Stats

Dave wrapped up this round with 19 right answers and a total of $16,400. Erin ended up with $13,000 and Zach banked $12,000. Though Zach gave more correct answers than Erin, which is 20, he made 3 incorrect guesses.

Final Jeopardy Round Stats

It was both Dave and Erin who guessed the final jeopardy correctly. However, with Dave leading the board since the beginning, ended up winning the show with a total of $24,400. Erin came second with $20,000 and Zach finalised with $10,000 in his pocket.
