The show must go on! Jeopardy! released another episode of its 41st season on December 4, 2024. The show made its debut back in 1960 and ever since nothing could make the show shut down. This trivia competition has gained love from across the globe all these years. Fans still ensure they are seated on their couches attempting to guess the right answer with the participants.

Yesterday, on December 4, 2024, the show aired its 63rd episode of this season. The three contestants behind the podiums were returning champion, Stevie Ruiz, Kimberley Debus, and Gloria Nastas.

Though each of the contenders tried hard to take home the win, Stevie Ruiz again became undefeatable and ended up winning the episode. He will be making a third appearance on December 5 to try and hit a hat trick.

Who were the contestants on Jeopardy! December 4, 2024 episode?

Kimberley Debus, a unitarian universalist minister from Takoma Park, Maryland tried hard to get on top of the scoreboard. Even though she maintained her second place throughout the three rounds, she couldn't get past it and ended up with a total of $5,100.

Another new contestant on Jeopardy! yesterday was Gloria Nastas. She is a retired healthcare policy analyst and is based out of Troy, Michigan. Gloria came last on the leaderboard with $3,195 in her pocket. Even though she was able to guess many answers correctly, she ended up making a lot of incorrect guesses too.

Stevie Ruiz, a returning champion, took home the win once again with a grand total of $18,000. He is an assistant front office manager from Montauk, New York who also defeated Evan and Lucas in the previous episode. His calculated risks and knowledge together helped him bank another win.


Final Jeopardy clue & solution from Jeopardy! December 4, 2024 Episode

The clue for the Final Jeopardy on Dec. 4 was,

This country’s national radio launched in 1925; 14 years later, it fell into a long silence following a piano nocturne.

The category for this round was "The 20th Century."

While Kimberley guessed the answer, "What is England?" Stevie and Gloria were able to guess the right answer, which was,

"What is Poland?"

In 1925, Poland launched its national radio, Polskie Radio. This show became a symbol of culture and unity in the country. However, 14 years later, in 1939, when the Nazi Germany invaded Poland during World War II, the show went silent. The last program aired on this show was Chopin's Nocturne in C-shape Minor. This was associated with Polish identity and resilience.

Jeopardy round

Stevie started strong by answering 13 questions correctly and making $7,600. Kimberley and Gloria, however, couldn't find all the right answers and ended with $3,000 and $1,200 respectively.


Double Jeopardy round

Continuing his streak, Stevie made 24 correct guesses and banked a total of $18,000 by the end of this round. Kimberley made $8,600 after 10 correct answers and Gloria was at $1,600 with 3 incorrect answers.


Final Jeopardy round

After a few days of no one finding the right answer to the Final Jeopardy clue, Stevia and Gloria finally made the right guess. Stevie made a total of $18,000, Gloria added $1,595 making her total $3,195, and Kimberley lost $3,500 and took home $5,100.


Stevie Ruiz once again won Jeopardy! on Dec 4, 2024, and made a total of $18,000.
