Jeopardy! December 3, 2024 — Winner, clues, and more

As season 41 of Jeopardy! continues, a new episode went live on December 3, 2024. This is one of the longest-running TV shows, with fans from the 1960s until now. It has captured the attention of almost everyone in every house. Some fell in love with the show because of the former host, Alex Trebek, while others couldn't take their eyes off Ken Jennings.

Apart from maintaining its streak of having some of the most handsome hosts, the show is mainly a trivia competition. Three contestants enter the show each day after passing the 'Anytime Test' to take home huge cash prizes by answering no-so-easy trivia questions.

On yesterday's episode of the game show, returning champion, Evan Jones went on stage against Luca Gerace and Stevie Ruiz. After three intense rounds of interesting categories and back-to-back answering, it was Stevie who made it to the top of the leaderboard. He will return tomorrow against two new contenders to try and maintain his streak.

Evan Jones, after defeating Susan Beachy and Mike Ross, returns to try and add more to his bank. He is a software designer from Seattle, Washington who showed incredible gameplay but failed to become the champion. However, he was able to land in second place.

Stevie Ruiz, an assistant front office manager from Montauk, New York ended up with $17,987 becoming the winner. In the Double Jeopardy round, Stevie picked up and left behind the other two contestants.

Joining Stevie and Evan was Luca Gerace, a chef from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Even though he tried to catch up with the other two players, he couldn't get past any of them on the leaderboard and, therefore, ended at the bottom.

Final Jeopardy Question & Solution from Jeopardy! December 3, 2024 Episode

The category picked for yesterday's episode of Jeopardy! was "19th Century European Literature," and the clue for the contestants was,

"An early version of this novel was first published as a serial under the title “The Year 1805.”

None of the contestants were able to find the correct answer, which was,

"What is War and Peace?"

Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace is one of the most celebrated works, published in 1869. "The Year 1805" throws light on the novel's focus on the sociopolitical and cultural conditions of that time. The entire novel covers the time from 1805 to 1820 where it talks about the chronicles of the French invasion of Russia.

Jeopardy Round

Evan topped the round with $5,200 after correctly answering 8 questions. Luca won $2,800 after he guessed 7 correct answers, and Stevie could only bank $2,000 after incorrectly answering 2 questions.

Double Jeopardy Round

Catching up in the Double Jeopardy round, Stevie answered 20 questions correctly and banked $18,400. Evan ended up with $15,100 after answering 19 questions. Luca ended up at the bottom with only $2,000 after incorrectly answering four questions.

Final Jeopardy Round

Yet again, none of the contestants could find the correct answer to the Final Jeopardy clue. After incorrectly answering the question, Stevie's total was $17,987 and took home the win. Evan came second with $11,799, and Luca ended with $1,980 only.
