With Jeopardy! December 26, 2024, it seems that this is Laura's world and we are just living in it. Laura Faddah became a winner once again marking her sixth consecutive win on the show.

Laura Faddah: Laura hails from Tennessee where she works as a manager. She was a returning champion in this episode having won for 5 days straight. Her total previous winnings gave her a base to rely upon. Her sharp mind and conservative gameplay are what brought her forward to this point.

Brad Grusnick: Brad works in the media profession where he is a voice actor. He lives in Aurora, Illinois. He is also a novelist who possesses a signature literary style appreciated by his readers.

Even though he was new to the show, Brad played well with knowledge and patience establishing himself a worthy competitor.

Carole Portas Keane: Carole hails from Jersey City, New Jersey where she works as an education researcher. With her background and work experience in academia, she handled complex clues with a calm demeanor.

Jeopardy! Round: Categories for this round were Bodies Of Water; Destiny’s Other Children; The 18-School Big Ten; Cleaning Up; The Simpsons Character Who Said…; From J To K.

Laura started in an early lead with $4,000 right off the bat in the first round. As for Carol, she was trailing closely behind with $3,400. Lastly, Brad was at $2,400. Here is what the scores looked like at the end of this round.

  • Laura - $4,000 - 7 correct, 1 incorrect
  • Carole - $3,400 - 8 correct, 2 incorrect
  • Brad - $2,400 - 11 correct, 2 incorrect

Double Jeopardy! Round: Categories for this round were The Gadsden Purchase; Literary Geography; Science News; Differing By A Letter; It’s A Nice Day For…; A “White” Wedding.

Laura took yet another step forward with round as she found the Daily Double 2. Brad was finding his way although Carole found the last Daily Double. Then Laura powered through with even more correct responses that put her at the top.

Here is what the scores looked like before going ahead to the Final Jeopardy! round.

  • Carole - $6,400 - 12 correct 4 incorrect
  • Brad - $9,200 - 16 correct 2 incorrect

Final Jeopardy! Round: The category for the final round was Movies and Their Soundtracks. The clue given was

"'Catch It' was a tagline for the 1970s film whose iconic soundtrack became one of the bestselling albums in history."

The correct answer for the clue was

"What is Saturday Night Fever?"

All three participants answered the question correctly. But we saw how Laura built her game from the initial round itself which gave her score an extra boost ultimately leading to her win.

This was the 6th time that Laura was winning a Jeopardy! episode. Her streak is pretty solid right now which might continue with the next episodes as well. Fans are excited to see her journey on the show.
