Fans must know that the After Show host has been actively participating in various reality shows, including Survivor, The Amazing Race, and more. Later on, he became a commentator on the show, and now he wants his wife, Amber Brkich, to participate in the competition show.

"Here's my pick for a contestant that I think would do great on the next season of Deal or No Deal Island. I'm nominating my wife, Amber," shared Rob Mariano.

Deal or No Deal Island's Rob Mariano wants his wife to participate in the show's upcoming season

In his January 28, 2025 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Deal or No Deal host Rob Mariano was asked about the reality show's upcoming season. When asked about reality show stars who should be participating in the show, his answer was an interesting choice.

The host mentioned his wife, Amber, and stated how he thinks that she would do "great" in the upcoming season. For the fans who might not know, she participated in the second season of Survivor - The Australian Outbreak.

While participating in Survivor: All Stars, she competed against her husband, beat him at the final Tribal Council, and won a million dollars. She competed in two seasons of The Amazing Race with her husband, Rob Mariano. One of them was the seventh season, where the duo came second.

Later, in 2019-2020, she returned to reality TV by returning with Rob to participate in Survivor: Winners at War. The competition show was filmed in 2019 and aired the next year.

Referring to his choice and why he chose Amber for the competition show, Rob further stated that because he "needs a break," he wants his wife to "get back" out and bring home a "little bacon."

"It's about time she gets back out there and brings home a little bacon for the family. I've been running around all these shows — Deal or No Deal Island, Traitors — I need a break!" shared Rob Mariano.

Fans must remember Rob Mariano has participated in Survivor five times and twice in The Amazing Race. As for Deal or No Deal Island, he participated once, and after that, the host is currently one of the participants on The Traitors. Apart from that, he hosts the After Show and serves as a mentor for Survivor: Island of the Idols.
