"It's giving Bridgerton" - The Bachelor fans express their admiration for the date setting between Juliana and Grant Ellis

Juliana and Grant on The Bachelor Season 29 Episode 5 went on a one-on-one date together and the fans are in awe of the night they spent. Their time started with a helicopter ride and ended with fireworks in front of a Scottish castle having spent the most dreamy, fairytale time together.

They entered the venue where the two quickly dressed into fancy clothes representing the European era when balls used to happen. They were then escorted to the hall where musicians played a version of The Proclaimers and I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles).

Grant then pulled out a necklace for her which matched her outfit well, tying the entire night together. Soon after, on The Bachelor, they headed inside for dinner and talked about their pasts to connect on a deeper level.

This made The Bachelor fans gush over how fancy and royal everything was when it came to their date. This also led them to speculate that Juliana might be the one for him because she is spending all this time with him.

Even during the rose ceremony of the episode, Grant does not think twice before handing a rose to her leading the viewers to believe that there is indeed a very special connection with her.

One fan on Twitter expressed their feelings about the date and said,

"Juliana getting the shopping date and the helicopter date and a visit to a Scottish castle??? It's giving Bridgerton in the best way."

Affirming their belief in her because she did not "trauma dump" and instead chose to be subtle, another fan wrote,

"Took 295 seasons, but Juliana the first contestant ever not to snitch on a specific family member when revealing their “personal struggle” instead she just kept it really vague with the “someone in my family” It’s over. She really holding it down. Wife her."

Fans also believed that Grant truly did like Juliana on The Bachelor as soon as the date started and thus, expressed,

"Ok Grant really likes Juliana!! I saw it the minute she stepped out of the limo…he was melting!"

The Bachelor Season 29 Episode 5 - Juliana and Grant open up about their pasts

Juliana and Grant shared an emotional moment during their alone time in the castle on The Bachelor. Juliana revealed about the people around her and how she always had to deal with someone who was an addict.

Grant related to this a lot because his father was an addict. She said that behind the facade of happiness that she puts on, there is darkness but she never wants to travel deep into the same.

"Growing up, I was put in a difficult position where somebody really close to me had a problem with addiction, and it took the time away from me as a small kid. I think that the struggle has made me stronger, but that’s why I come off so happy all the time, because I’m really afraid of the darkness that I saw, and I’m afraid of going back there.”

Reflecting on the lonely times in Juliana's life, Grant reveals the challenges of his past well. He connects with her and talks about a future together. By the end of their night together, the two stepped out and shared a kiss on the backdrop of fireworks going off in the sky of the Scottish castle.

In a confessional, Grant shared his happiness about Juliana and said,

"It’s rare that two people meet and have very similar stories. I was trying to let her know that I’m in it all the way with her because our connection is so special."
