“It was organic:” Southern Charm cast member Shep Rose opens up about his relationship with Taylor Ann Green post-breakup

Southern Charm season 10 has returned with cast members Venita Aspen, Leva Bonaparte, Craig Conover, Taylor Ann Green, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Rodrigo Reyes, Jarrett “JT” Thomas, Patricia Altschul, and Whitney Sudler-Smith.

One of the highlights of this season is Shep Rose's romantic connection with Sienna. Before meeting Sienna, the Bravo celebrity was in a long-term relationship with Taylor Ann Green. After two and a half years of dating, the couple parted ways in 2022. In a newly released February 20, 2025, Southern Charm After Show video, Shep opened up about his relationship details when he and Taylor were together.

During his confessional interview, he reportedly told the cameras that his connection with Taylor was "organic" and "real." Regardless of the breakup, Shep stated that he appreciated the time they both spent as a couple while appreciating Taylor for being "understanding." He said:

"It was real. It was organic. It was it was quite lovely. So, I choose to look at those things and celebrate them — not celebrate, but honor them. I wish she felt the same way. Maybe one day she will, but she was very understanding, and I appreciated her in that moment."

Southern Charm cast member Shep Rose reflects on his connection with Taylor Ann Green

The Southern Charm cast member said that he wanted to remember and cherish the good memories he had with Taylor. Reflecting on his connection with Taylor, Shep expressed gratitude for the time they both spent together. For Shep, feelings of honor, appreciation, and celebration resided in his heart despite the breakup.

During the aftershow video, Shep stated that Taylor had been trying to "minimize" the depth of their relationship which lasted for more than two years. He also said that Taylor might not have similar feelings linked to their relationship hence Shep wished that one day they both could look back on their good times. The Southern Charm star said:

"I mean, she would like to minimize it, that's fine, just to placate her boyfriend, or I don't know why she's doing what she's doing, but the the simple truth is you can't replace that and you can't manufacture that."

He mentioned Taylor's qualities and her being a supportive and understanding partner. Shep continued:

"Taylor knows me very well. That's what lost in a lot of this stuff. It was just like commiseration. She felt for me. [We were dating] two and a half years."

The Southern Charm star emphasized the bond he and Taylor have established during the time they were dating. He stated:

"Taylor and I know each other very well, we know each other's family very well. We've been here, there, and everywhere. We've had intimate moments out the wazoo."

Season 10 will highlight Shep's newly found connection with Sienna as he navigates a recently developed relationship. Taylor Ann Green, on the other hand, is currently dating the Bravo reality TV star Gaston Rojas. Back in November 2024, at the BravoCon, Shep revealed that he and Sienna had split so he is single.
