"Isn't a friend" - Selling the City fans react to Jade's behavior

Selling the City was released on Netflix on January 3, 2025, and brought us realtor drama. It introduced Eleanora who works at Douglas Elliman, a luxury real estate firm in New York City. She has a team of four women. Another cast member was Jade who works in new development at the same company and is a companion to Eleanora.

Since the beginning of the season, viewers have noticed how Jade would pass on sly remarks at Eleanora and her team, especially Abigail. In the third episode, we saw her getting Taylor to one of her listings without telling Eleanora but the truth ultimately came out.

She also revealed information about their past together on cameras which viewers thought could have been omitted by a "real friend." In an Instagram video where we see the finale faceoff between Jade and Abigail, fans rush to support Abi and Eleanora claiming that Jade isn't a real companion.

Fans react to Jade's Behavior on Selling the City

The argument started when Abigail tried confronting Jade about her behavior towards her. She was upset about the remarks that Jade made about her appearance. This triggered Jade who lashed out on Netflix and left the scene angrily. Fans rushed to the comments to voice their opinions about Jade. One user wrote,

This comment was made after how Jade has been affirming all season long on Selling the City that she is Eleanora's friend but still went behind her back trying to recruit Taylor for herself.

In Selling the City episode 4, Eleanora also admitted that despite knowing Jade for a long time, the two have a complicated relationship.
