ABC's The Conners has made a special place in everyone's heart since its debut in 2018. The show is a reboot of the 80s hit sitcom Roseanne, which was based on the story of Roseanne Connor.
Continuing the spin-off without the titular actress Roseanne Barr, on who the show was set, was a huge leap forward for the makers. However, ABC took that plunge anyway and the show proved a huge success.

The Conners is confirmed for Season 7. Is there a release date for the final season of the beloved sitcom?
The show follows the daily lives of Conner family, who face the ups and downs of an average middle-class family.
While the show was initially meant for a six-season run, after the skyrocketing viewer ratings, ABC confirmed that the family will return for Season 7, which will mark the sitcom's end.
Executive Producer Dave Caplan talks about carrying and honoring the legacy of the original sitcom,
“The whole time that we’ve been doing The Conners, we’ve never stopped feeling the pressure of the legacy of the entire run. We owe it to these characters because they’re the same characters.''
He further added,
''That is at the forefront of our minds with all of the stories that we’ve broken for The Conners, and it will be on our minds for the last six.”
While there is no release date yet, the show is expected to drop the final season in Spring 2025, around March of next year.

Executive producer Bruce Helford talks about 'surprises' for fans in the last season,
''...there are no shortage of surprises in the Conners’ lives…. I think that there is much to happen that is not expected.''
He also added,
''...we’ve got Bev out there, basically hopping trains and stealing pies off of windowsills. There are a lot of things that are in play, that are in motion, and a lot of things that will come in that aren’t in motion yet.”
