Since the show recently made it's debut, it would take time for Netflix to greenlight Season 2 of Nobody Wants This. Per multiple reports, Season 1 of the rom-com drama production took place over four months - January to April before seeing a September release.

“We’re getting a really positive response and I think the conversations have definitely started to happen about a potential Season 2.”
Foster continued highlighting events of a slow-burn romance in Season 2 of the series and teased the synopsis of Season 2. The executive producer noted,
“If there is a Season 2, I would want to just kind of pick up where we leave off and continue to take it slow.”
Similarly, Foster expressed her desire for more seasons to narrate Joanne and Noah’s story. As Foster mentioned, while conversations are afoot, it’s only time until Netflix surprises us with a renewal.
