His role as the chivalrous but dangerous Capo Dwight Manfredi captivated fans of the gangster genre and they can't get enough of him. Currently, fans are hopeful as season 3 (confirmed by Stallone himself) is in the early stages of development.

According to the official synopsis,
"Dwight and his crew continue to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa, but just as they get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim. With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York."
Dwight breathes a sigh of relief because his businesses finally go legitimate and he is absolved of his charges. However, his happiness is short-lived as he faces threats from both new and old foes, including Frank Grillo's Bill Bevilaqua. Things take a turn toward the closing moments of Tulsa King Season 2 as Dwight is abducted by some type of off-the-books team affiliated with the government.
Who are the Kidnappers in Tulsa King Season 2?
The clues for the team's appearance were peppered throughout the Tulsa King season finale. One of them is the FBI agent investigating Dwight revealing that he was ordered to give his investigation findings to someone in DC. The nature of the team that abducted Dwight is undetermined because they weren't wearing a uniform that's recognizable. Also, it is important to note that they did not imprison Dwight. However, this team sets up a major plot point for Tulsa King season 3.
What Does Dwight's current predicament mean for Tulsa King Season 3?
Looks like the shady government team might use Dwight for a yet-to-be-revealed mission. The third season will likely revolve around Dwight walking a tightrope between being a pawn for the team to carry out the mission and being careful enough to not affect his recently legalized businesses.
The third season might also branch out to the spin-off series that was teased by Terence Winter a few months ago. While we don't know the release date for season three or the spinoff, Stallone did confirm that season 3 (at least) is in the early stages of development in September 2024 through this post:
Apart from Tulsa King Season 3, rumors have been swirling around for a few months that the show was renewed for both seasons 3 and 4.

However, the Tulsa King Season 3 release date is still unknown as the second season ended only on November 17, 2024, any news for the next one will probably drop early or mid-2025.
