The first entry in the DCU, Creature Commandos Season 1 streamed its 7th and last episode on 9th January 2025. The episode reveals the real villain of the series, Princess Ilana Rostovic, and it kills a major character. What happens in the Creature Commandos Season finale post-credits scene?
The Creature Commandos Season finale post-credits scene revolves around Eric Frankenstein. It reveals that he is alive and is being tended to by another old lady similar to the flashbacks in Creature Commandos Episode 5. He is still under the delusion that The Bride loves him, totally not getting her message. This also sets up Eric's involvement in the second season.
What happens in Creature Commandos Season 1 finale?
Creature Commandos Season 1 finale starts with a flashback showing Nina Mazursky's birth. She is having trouble breathing as her lungs are outside. To help her breathe, Nina's father Edward Mazursky creates a device with an oxygen mask. When that device becomes unfeasible, he experiments on her, transforming her into a sentient being who can breathe underwater and talk like humans.
A few years later, she is admitted into a school, but fellow students bully her, prompting her to run away. One day, her photograph is clicked by someone, which is leaked to the Star City News, leading to authorities capturing her. As she is being imprisoned, her father tries to defend her, but he is shot. The episode shifts to the present, where Nina and her fellow Creature Commandos plan to kill the princess.
Nina is chosen to kill the princess as the latter is swimming in a moat close to her castle. They give Nina a knife so that she can stab Rostovic under the water, but the princess is alerted to her presence under the water. As Nina and the princess fight under the water, the latter overpowers the former and stabs her, killing her instantly.
Afterwards, The Bride in a private conversation with Ilana kills the latter as it is revealed that Circe's precognitive vision was accurate. However, The Bride clarifies that she is not going to kill Rostovic because she cares about humans, but because the princess killed her only friend in a long time. After shooting the princess, The Bride, Doctor Phosphorus, and Weasel leave the Pokolistani Castle before anyone can stop them.
Then, the three are Belle Reve, when John Economos surprises The Bride with the new Creature Commandos consisting of her, Weasel, and Doctor Phosphorus. The new members of the team include the rebuilt G.I. Robot, King Shark (from 2021's The Suicide Squad), the mummy Khalis, and a vampire named Nosferata.
