Season 4 of Mayor of Kingstown on Paramount+ was announced in December 2024. The crime thriller series, created by Taylor Sheridan, follows the McLusky family in the fictional company town of Kingstown in Michigan, where the primary business is incarceration.
The family acts as a bridge between cops, prisoners, and gang members in Kingstown, striving to maintain justice and law in a town that has seemed deprived of these traits for years.
Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 concluded in August 2024, and the show has started production for Season 4. According to a report in Deadline, Clayton Cardenas has joined the cast for Season 4 of the show.

Actor Clayton Cardenas joins Mayor of Kingstown in Season 4
After all the character deaths in Season 3, the show was expected to cast some new faces in the upcoming season. Once the show was announced for Season 4 in December 2024, Cardenas was the first and newest addition to the cast, according to an exclusive report by Deadline.
Actor and producer Clayton Cardenas has joined the show in Season 4. Cardenas is best known for his work in NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, ABC's American Crime, and the FX series Mayans M.C.
He also reprised his character Dante in Fox's The Cleaning Lady Season 3 in 2024 and is all set to star in Netflix's upcoming show The Abandons, as the lead.
In Season 4 of Mayor of Kingstown, Cardenas will play the character of Deputy Warden Torres, the right-hand man to the new warden at Anchor Bay prison .
After the prison's interim warden, Captain Kareem Moore's death in the Season 3 finale, it was expected that a new warden would take over in the upcoming season. While it has not been confirmed who will play the role of the new warden, Clayton's Torres would be their right-hand man in the prison.
Clayton's casting proves that the show will continue to expand its storyline and will likely introduce new characters to make up for all the deaths in Season 3.
Season 4 will bank on this transitional shift and how Torres interacts with other law enforcement officials, besides Mike.
