Invincible Season 3 Episode 4 "You Were My Hero," featured an exciting action scene in space. Finally, Allen and Nolan teamed up to escape from prison and had someone's help this time to stand up to the Viltrumites: Thokk, or Battle Beast (as he is popularly known). This marks the character's reintroduction in this series, as he was last seen in the first season.

Battle Beast is imprisoned in the same space prison where Allen and Nolan are serving time. After Allen overpowers some guards, he teams up with Thokk when the latter is promised a battle with Viltrumites. It is worth noting that Battle Beast, as a character, seeks nothing but a worthy battle. While other species may have a hard time with Viltrumites, Thook's species might even overpower the Viltrumites.

The damage that he inflicted upon Mark back in Invincible Season 1 is still one of the most brutal moments.

Who is Invincible's Battle Beast?

We first meet Battle Beast in the fifth episode of Invincible's first season, "That Actually Hurt". In that episode, we see Mark and Titan, a criminal, team up to bring down the latter's boss, the notorious gangster Machine Head. However, the mob boss predicts Titan's betrayal and hires several villains, including Thokk. The Battle Beast alone delivers a crushing defeat to our heroes, including Invincible.

However, Batlle Beast is disgusted by the lack of challenge in this battle and leaves to find a worthy opponent. After that, we finally meet him in the fourth episode of the third season. However, in his pursuit of a worthy battle, he may have terrorized numerous species across the galaxy, which may have led to his imprisonment

What role does he play in the latest Invincible episode?

Nolan is in prison, awaiting his execution, which will be carried out only once he has completely recovered from his injuries from his previous battle. In this episode, it looks like he is finally recovered and is even ready to accept his death at the hands of Viltrumites. However, this is when Allen finally breaks out of his confinements and overpowers some prison guards.

However, Allen is overwhelmed by the guards and frees some dangerous criminals from their cells. When even the dangerous criminals are defeated, Allen finally frees Battle Beast from his cell. Thokk springs into action when Allen promises him a battle with two Viltrumites who have arrived to execute Omni-Man. But things go awry soon.

Allen goes through the door, which he believes leads to Nolan's execution room. However, Thokk, angered by the absence of Viltrumites, is about to fight Allen, as he now sees him as the only worthy opponent available. However, he soon locates Nolan's execution room, and the team-up is back on the table. This sets the stage for an intense and pretty fun battle.

Notably, Nolan has accepted his fate until one of the Viltrumites overpowers Allen. This prompts Nolan to spring back into action, and soon, Omni-Man, Allen, and Battle Beast team up to fight the two Viltrumite executioners. Allen and Nolan manage to kill a Viltrumite executioner by punching him simultaneously. Thus, it finally looks like Allen has successfully convinced Omni-Man to join the resistance to the Viltrum empire.

Meanwhile, Thokk appears to have taken care of his own Viltrum opponent. After that, we don't know where he will go next.
