Shark Tank US has featured some of the greatest products that did wonders after getting an investment from the show. However, at times the ones who did not get any investment still won over the sharks' hearts and appreciation.

One such pitch was featured in Season 12 of Shark Tank US where Wen Muenyi was seeking $212k for a 10% stake in his company, Jax Sheets. Muenyi presented an exclusive sheets brand for men, who keep sheets on until they almost have no life left.

Jax Sheets incorporated a unique technology that blended bamboo and copper, which allowed the sheets to stay fresh for longer. Along with sheets, Muenyi also had t-shirts and underwear made with the same technology. As much as the sharks loved the purity and honesty of Muenyi's pitch, they did not see a scaling potential in the product.

Mark Cuban was highly impressed by Muenyi's pitch calling it the "best pitch ever" but opted out of the deal because he did not want to corrupt his idea. Mark said:

"You're incredible. Look you are this business and this business is you. We would just corrupt it. You're doing it exactly the way you want it to. Every now and then somebody just hits it right and gets a business that fits them perfectly. I don't want to kill your Vibe. I'm out."

Did Jax Sheets founder, Wen Muenyi, get a deal in Shark Tank Season 12?

When Jax Sheets founder, Wen Muenyi, came up with a unique technology to keep bed sheets fresh for longer, the Shark Tank investors enjoyed hearing his pitch. But the show is as much about the numbers as it is about presenting a great idea. The sharks found Muenyi honest but struggled to see any future growth in his brand.

Upon digging a little deeper into the sale and valuation, the investors found out that Jax Sheets had solely generated revenue through Kickstarter, an American public benefit corporation located in New York, which operates a global crowdfunding platform centered on creative projects.

Not seeing any data on customer acquisition rate and a real valuation, the sharks opted out of the deal. Robert Herjavec remarked that Jax Sheets was not an "investable business today" while Lori Greiner, believed that Muenyi had a "premise for a really good idea" but lacked the business aspect in it.

Jax Sheets did not get investment from any shark, however, he was glad he could make it to the stage of Shark Tank and present his ideas in front of the investors.

Shark Tank US is available on ABC Network to watch.
