“I trust my mother’s opinion:” Farmer Wants a Wife star John meets a potential love interest 

Farmer Wants a Wife, a reality TV dating show, explores the lives of farmers as they navigate romantic connections. In the newly released April 24, 2025 episode, the farmers went on a date with their love prospect chosen by their moms. One of the cast members, John, went on a date with private chef Juliana and felt a strong connection with her.

He admitted that his mom chose the right person for him in terms of compatibility. John told the cameras that he "trusted his mother's opinion."

“I definitely credit who I am to my mom. I trust my mother’s opinion very much. I think it will be interesting to see who she picked out because Mom knows best."

Farmer Wants a Wife season 3, episode 6, titled "Mamma Knows Best," was released exclusively on April 24, 2025, on FOX. The episode description reads as follows:

"The farmers are tested by someone who knows them best -- their moms."

Farmer Wants a Wife star John told the cameras that he trusted his mother's choice; however, he had yet to decide whether he wanted to take Juliana back to the farm where other candidates were waiting. Initially, not so sure of wanting a new potential love interest, but soon felt an instant spark with Juliana. The private chef expressed her love for motherhood and shared that her hobbies included cooking and gardening.

John felt that Juliana was ticking all the boxes as they both had similar interests. During his confessional interview, he shared that his mother's choice was right and that he could see him and Juliana being compatible with each other. The Farmer Wants a Wife stated he wanted to keep an open heart and mind during this process while "considering all options." He continued:

"I think my mom did a pretty damn good job, but this is a pretty unusual process. If I were, like, dating somebody right now, I wouldn't have even considered meeting a girl like this. So, I'm keeping my heart and mind completely open and considering all the options."

Ultimately, John decided to bring Juliana back to the farm, where Claire, Lily, and Kaylee seemed disappointed. Kaylee admitted that she was upset with John's decision while questioning him about when he was going to "stop looking for more." Responding to this question, John acknowledged Kaylee's feelings, clarifying that he felt a genuine connection with Juliana, which he wanted to explore. He explained:

"I'm not out here looking for more. There's not something I'm looking for that you guys are lacking. There was something there [with Juliana], okay? And it would be unfair to you guys to not explore that, because I would have been thinking about what may or may not could have happened."
