"I don't think we're a romantic match": Love on the Spectrum star Madison shares her honest opinion about her date with Brandon

Love on the Spectrum Season 3 Episode 2 featured Madison's first date with Brandon. The show's second episode premiered on April 2, 2025, on Netflix, featuring cast members on the spectrum going through their various romantic dates.

As Madison felt comfortable during their date, Brandon was anxious due to the noise surrounding them. Seeing him unable to enjoy their date and have a proper conversation in public, Madison didn't have a good first date with Brandon. As their date came to an end, Love on the Spectrum cast member told Brandon:

"So I wanna say something to you. It was so nice to meet you, but I don't think we're a romantic match."

Love on the Spectrum Season 3 Episode 2: Madison's date with Brandon didn't go as well as she'd expected

The second episode of Love on the Spectrum Season 3 featured Madison's first date. It was with Brandon.

"Madison is meeting Brandon. He likes kangaroo pouches and massage chairs. He doesn't like wobbly tables or touching fish," shared the narrator.

As he arrived and shook hands with Madison, he put his bag to his side and crouched at the table. He mentioned he was from Ocala, Florida. Madison then gave him the Boston sports team dolls she had made.

Half way through their date, he sat in the same position and Madison and the producers asked him about it. Later, when he mentioned that the noises around them made him uncomfortable, their seating arrangement was moved outside.

However, Brandon then had his earbuds in his ear with music, which didn't work out well during his conversation with Madison. As their date ended, Madison told him it was nice meeting him, but they were not a "romantic" match.

In response, Brandon told her:

"I do feel like we are a romantic match, but it's just that I'm not comfortable being in public places where there's people."

Listening to him, Madison told him:

"I'm...I'm being honest with you. Yes. Like, I just want someone who loves going out. That's very important to me. And you're not that for me, unfortunately, but I do wish you best of luck. Yeah, I did enjoy spending time with you."

Brandon shook hands with Madison as he told her he understood her point of view and thanked her for spending time with him. He then put on his earbuds and over the ear headphones and left. They shook hands once more as Brandon was leaving the venue, and they waved goodbye.

After her date, the producers asked Madison how her date with Brandon went. The Love on the Spectrum star responded:

"Hopefully, I meet a guy who's outgoing, a guy who loves traveling. The guy I met today, he wasn't into any of that stuff, and it broke my heart."

Love on the Spectrum star Madison told the producer about "so many fish" in the sea and how good of a saying it was. She mentioned "fish as in guys" and shared she would love to meet more of those fishes.
