After her stunning Blind Audition on The Voice Season 27, Kelsea Ballerini asked Lucia Flores-Wiseman:

"What is your name, you magical human being?"

Admitting,

"I was very teary. Well, no notes. You have a God-given voice."

Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini, and John Legend were all quick to turn their seats during the performance, which is exactly what all those who aspire to come on the show could hope for.

For those unfamiliar with the structure of The Voice, the coaches listen with their backs to the artists while they sing. Coaches might indicate their interest in having a performance join their squad by turning their chairs if they are impressed.

The greatest affirmation a competitor may get during The Voice Blind Auditions process is a 4-Chair Turn. With Adam Levine rejoining the coaching panel after leaving in Season 16 along with newbies Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini and veterans John Legend, Season 27 has added new life to the venerable NBC competition.

One of the season's highlights so far was Flores-Wiseman's performance in Spanish, which demonstrated the variety of talent the program still draws.

What happened during Lucia Flores-Wiseman’s Blind Audition on The Voice Season 27?

Flores-Wiseman, dressed fully in purple, sang "La Llorona" by Angela Aguilar in a captivating performance, playing guitar and singing in Spanish. Noting that both artists are from Maple Valley, Washington, the recent college graduate, who is Mexican-American on her father's side, mentioned Brandi Carlile as an inspiration.

Her vocal prowess and cultural heritage were displayed during this episode of The Voice. Her brave decision to sing in Spanish paid off handsomely, differentiating her from many other competitors and showcasing her range as a performer.

The coaches' reactions came in quick succession. Adam Levine was the first to press his button, followed by Michael Bublé, who shouted "vamos!" – Spanish for "let's go!" Kelsea Ballerini turned next, with John Legend completing the 4-Chair Turn and greeting Flores-Wiseman with a casual "hey girl" after her performance.

Each The Voice coach made their pitch to win her over. Levine highlighted her complete package as a performer, stating it's "very rare that someone has it all... [but] here you are." This simple but powerful observation seemed to resonate with Flores-Wiseman.

Bublé took a different approach, showing off his Spanish language skills – which he's developed during his 15-year marriage to Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato. He jokingly claimed that his marriage and language learning were part of a "super long game" to recruit talented Spanish-speaking contestants like Flores-Wiseman.

Despite the compelling pitches from all four coaches, Flores-Wiseman ultimately chose Team Adam, adding to Levine's impressive roster of 4-Chair Turn artists this season. Her decision continues Levine's strong comeback trajectory in Season 27.

This wasn't Levine's first major win of the season. During the premiere, he successfully recruited Ethan Eckenroad after telling him:

"You have an effortless thing that you do that is so soulful and so simple. You have my favorite voice that I have heard so far this entire Blind Audition [round]. It would be a tragedy if you weren't on my team."

Levine also wooed Grace-Miller Moody earlier in the season after she boldly performed a Maroon 5 song for her audition. With Flores-Wiseman now on his team, Levine's return to The Voice after several seasons away is proving to be triumphant.

Adam Levine’s return to The Voice and all that it entails

Adam Levine's return to The Voice has revived one of the show's most entertaining elements – his rivalry with Blake Shelton, despite Shelton's departure after Season 23. The friendly feud continues to influence the show's dynamics.

During Monday's episode, Ballerini revealed some pre-show advice she received from Shelton:

"Blake really made me nervous. He said, 'Adam's tough. Sometimes he's mean, he's competitive. He's ruthless.'" She quickly added, "He was wrong! You're lovely! You're really nice!"

Levine suggested Shelton was merely "hazing" Ballerini by making her afraid of him. He also complained about sitting in Shelton's former chair, saying:

"The one bad part of this season is I have to sit in this filthy Chair," continuing a running joke about Shelton's seat being "mangy" and "musty."

As The Voice Season 27 continues, Flores-Wiseman's journey on Team Adam will be one to watch. Her ability to deliver a powerful performance in Spanish while playing guitar suggests a versatility that could take her far in the competition.

The coaches' battle for talent continues to intensify, with Adam Levine building a strong team in his comeback season. His ongoing virtual "beef" with the absent Blake Shelton adds a familiar and entertaining element for longtime fans of the show.

With performers like Flores-Wiseman setting a high bar early in the season, viewers can expect more impressive talent and fierce coaching competition as The Blind Auditions continue and the show moves toward the Battle Rounds.

The Voice airs live on NBC at 8 p.m. ET and streams on Peacock the next day.
