A recently released episode of The Bachelor Season 29, featured more drama between two female participants. It included Carolina, a public relations officer, and Rose, a registered nurse. Both potential candidates for show star Grant Ellis' wife found themselves in a feud.
Things escalated after Carolina revealed her off-camera conversation with a fellow participant, Rose. As Carolina mentioned, Rose told her that during a previous group date, Grant Ellis said he was thinking about Rose while dancing with Carolina.
Since The Bachelor participant Carolina mentioned the "off-camera" conversation, many fans of the show expressed that they wanted to witness the video clip. It sparked a debate among the show fans divided between Carolina and Rose.
A fan wrote on X, demanding the "video" during which Rose told Carolina about how Grant was missing her:
"I need video of Rose saying that about Carolina #thebachelor."
Another fan commented while mimicking Carolina's conversation when she revealed her conversation with Rose:
"Carolina: Rose told me that Grant told her he was thinking about her while dancing with me' Rose:… #TheBachelor."
A user shared on X:
"I will say I do remember Grant telling Rose that he was thinking about her - but he did not specifically say he was thinking about her while he was dancing with Carolina #TheBachelor."
A person reacted to Grant's potential reaction:
"Grant is PISSED at Rose #TheBachelor."
A fan mentioned Carolina and stated:
"Honestly? I don't even blame Carolina. If a guy I JUST opened up to was saying he was thinking about another girl while he was with me, I'd also start spiraling. Even if he did say it, Rose should not have said anything to her. #TheBachelor."
A fan criticized Rose for sharing what she might have heard from Grant with Carolina:
"The way Rose just blew up Carolina's whole world with that one comment.. #TheBachelor."
A user mentioned the moment when Carolina went to Grant about the conversation she had with Rose:
"What's the point of Carolina approaching Grant with what she heard if she wasn't prepared to say who knowing good and well he was gonna ask?! #TheBachelor."
A netizen mentioned:
"Maybe before we bully and demonize another Asian woman like we did with Jenn and Rachel, let's consider that we don't know exactly what Rose said to Carolina. Just a thought. #TheBachelor."
An X user wrote:
"I think both women heard what they wanted to hear... Rose heard he was thinking of her. Carolina heard he was thinking of someone else. Grant said something very vague. But he said it. #TheBachelor."
The Bachelor Season 29 Episode 3: Carolina confronts Grant Ellis regarding her off-camera conversation with Rose
While Grant went on a private date with Litia during the third episode of the reality show, Carolina got emotional at the mansion. She said she chatted with Rose, who told her that Grant was thinking about Rose while dancing with Carolina during the previous group date.
Later in the episode, The Bachelor participant Carolina confronted Grant:
"You said to someone you were thinking of them when you were dancing on stage with me."
However, she didn't reveal the name of any individual. After denying that, he counter-questioned if that individual was Bailey, Litia, or Dina. Carolina refused. The Bachelor star stated that he was not there to "play games" and did not seem very happy about how the situation had turned out.
Later, when The Bachelor star realized it could be Rose, he confronted her. The female cast member accepted that she thought she heard him stating that he was "thinking" about her while he danced with Carolina on stage.
As Rose stated, the reason for sharing it with Carolina was that the participants were "spiraling," and after seeing them "comparing notes," she commented to Carolina.
