Shark Tank US has been a platform to nurture innovation and entrepreneurial spirit across all genders, age groups, and people from all walks of life. But it surprised the sharks, when a 10-year-old Cassidy Crowley had a pitch to present.

A self-funded project before appearing on Shark Tank Season 11, The Baby Toon founder Cassidy Crowley asked for $50k for 50% of the equity in her company. She was accompanied by her mother, Lori, and presented one of the most sought-after pitches. The Baby Toon offered a variety of adorable and soft silicone spoons for babies and toddlers.

After trying the product, and hearing how Cassidy wanted to inspire other kids to delve into opportunities to create new things, Robert Herjavec couldn't control and curiosity and asked Cassidy why she was willing to offer half of her company's stake. Cassidy, honestly, and confidently replied:

"I mean let's face it. I'm only 10 years old. I need a partner. I mean, I still have to go to high school."

Cassidy's response won over sharks, and Mark Cuban remarked, "I think you're more of a shark than we are." Mark could not stop appreciating how brilliant Cassidy was for starting a business and looking after different aspects of it. However, citing the product was "not a fit" for him, he opted out.

Shark Tank investors were blown away by the sheer talent and grit that Cassidy had to offer, along with her brand, The Baby Toon, on Season 11. However, the Sharks found it pretty difficult to navigate a deal with a 10-year-old Cassidy.

Robert and Mark opted out because they could not find the business suitable for them. Daniel Lubetzky was moved by Cassidy's knowledge about the nitty-gritty of the technical aspect of the product, like testing what grade of silicon would be more suitable for the spoons. However, he too opted out because, citing that he did not understand baby space.

Surprisingly though, he proposed a rather cute offer, and said:

"I know you're not allowed to do this in the United States of America but if in 20 years you want to marry one of my kids, uh, I'd be very delighted."

Nevertheless, the "Queen of QVC" Lori Greiner loved the product, and extended an offer, proposing the exact deal, that is, $50k for 50% of the equity to Cassidy, and The Baby Toon founder finally had a deal.

Shark Tank US airs on ABC Network.
