"I'm standing up for myself" - Southern Charm star Ryan defends himself against Leva's remarks about Venita and JT

Southern Charm star Ryan was caught in a confrontation in the most recent episode with Leva and Venita. He has told Venita in the last episode about how JT and he, who share a mutual barber, had come across information that was derogatory to her.

This shocked Venita because she and JT were having a thing throughout the season but soon distanced themselves when he got into a relationship with Ally.

Back in the previous Southern Charm episode, Ryan claimed that their barber told him how JT had said that "some black girl" referring to Venita, was trying to flirt with him but that would break up his new relationship.

Ryan told this to Venita who told Leva and Leva confronted JT with this info. He was shocked however and said that these words had never left his mouth. JT even called the barber and tried to clear up the whole thing and it was thus settled.

Now, in Southern Charm episode 15, during a party, Leva and Venita sat down with Ryan and confronted him for spreading lies about JT but he defended himself saying that he relayed the exact information to them about what he had heard. He said:

"I'm standing up for myself and responding."

Southern Charm star Ryan reveals his side of the story in the middle of JT and Venita's fiasco

Things turned south when Venita was hurt by what JT had said to his barber and she told Leva about the same. Leva knows JT and thus, went over to confront him about the same.

However, JT was just as shocked and swore on Southern Charm that he was not a racist even though Ryan was trying to paint him as one. Instead of saying "some Black girl," their mutual barber confirmed that JT had said "a cute black girl" while talking about Venita.

Soon, the matter was settled between them and JT apologized to Venita for the hurt that it might have caused her given the fact that they previously had a thing going on.

But now, everyone needed answers from Ryan about why is he spreading rumors about JT, and that too while putting Venita in the middle of it and hurting her deeply. However, Ryan does not think that is the case and feels he passed on what was revealed to him. Talking about the same, he said:

"I believe in always telling the truth when it is your truth to tell. And this is a moment where I have seen my friend (Venita) saying that she is in love with him, that she has caught feeling for him. And this is information that I cannot be around my friend and know, and not share with her."

Leva's main concern was with the nature of the message and she pointed out that "passing such information " could be damaging to someone's reputation. She said:

"It's something I would fact check..."

Leva soon left the room for Venita and Ryan to talk about their feelings. He claimed that the barber must have twisted things up because, at the end of the day, he is running a business and would want a "clean house."

Ryan continued to say that if Venita comes to her saying that she is in a relationship with JT, he will support her but will be concerned because of his "track record."

Venita's only concern is that she often finds herself at a crossroads when it comes to JT and Ryan on Southern Charm because she is friends with both but they are not mutually friendly with each other.
