Dr. Heavenly Kimes, one of the standout personalities on Bravo's hit series Married to Medicine, has expressed interest in taking her reality TV career in a new direction. As Season 11 of the medical-focused reality show wraps up, Kimes shared her thoughts on potentially joining Peacock's popular competition series, The Traitors.

Known for her direct approach and quick wit on Married to Medicine – which follows the lives of women in Atlanta's medical community and their spouses – Kimes doesn't shy away from self-confidence when discussing her gaming abilities.

"I've never watched the whole thing, but I've seen some clips and it seems like a very interesting dynamic where they're bringing people from different places and playing a game," she told Deadline in a recent interview.

Elaborating:

"I like to play games. I think I'm very good at games. I'm very smart. Phaedra is smart too, but not quite as smart as I am."

This characteristic confidence has made her a fan favorite and explains why viewers and fellow Bravolebrities alike think she'd be perfect for the backstabbing competition of The Traitors.

Married to Medicine’s Dr. Heavenly Kimes comments about her potential casting in The Traitors

Despite her busy filming schedule, Kimes maintains that she's "probably the most balanced person" on Married to Medicine. Unlike some reality stars who make television their full-time career, she continues to practice dentistry at her own establishment.

"I do have a job. I do work in my profession, but I do it three days a week, so the other four days of the week, I'm either spending time with my kids or doing something else," Kimes explained.

She credits the production companies for accommodating the cast's professional lives.

"Bravo and Purveyors of Pop have been very, very good about working around our schedules, so it just all flows together," she said.

She added:

"But at the end of the day, it's about priorities."

This work-life balance has allowed Kimes to build a successful dental practice and a thriving television career spanning multiple seasons.

Kimes seems genuinely surprised by the groundswell of support for her potential casting on The Traitors, but she's not opposed to the idea.

"Everybody keeps asking me about The Traitors. I don't know why. Even when I did my last thing at Bravo, they voted me most likely to win at Traitors," she revealed.

The connection makes sense to fans who have watched Kimes navigate the complex social dynamics of Married to Medicine for years. Her strategic mind and ability to read people would likely serve her well in a game of deception and alliance-building.

Never one to close doors on opportunity, Kimes added:

"I never really thought about about it, but I'm down for any opportunity. I like to play games. If you want to start a campaign, let's do it."

Dr. Heavenly Kimes talks about her future in Married to Medicine

One of the most endearing aspects of Kimes' presence on "Married to Medicine" is her relationship with her daughter Alaura, who occasionally appears on the show. Earlier this season, a social media video featuring the mother-daughter duo went viral, showcasing their similar personalities.

"I didn't realize how much we were alike until that video," Kimes admitted.

Explaining:

"I was looking at it like, 'She does have mannerisms like me!' I use slang and Ebonics, but it's kind of become a habit, so I use words that she's actually picked up [from me]."

Alaura seems to have inherited not just her mother's mannerisms but also her direct communication style.

"She's like her mother. Yes, she is that way, and I appreciate that. I like straightforwardness," Kimes said proudly.

While fans might be excited about the prospect of seeing Kimes backstab fellow celebrities on The Traitors, she remains committed to Married to Medicine for the foreseeable future.

"I can see some more seasons. As long as they want me, imma be there," she stated confidently.

With Season 11 coming to a close, Kimes reflects on the show's longevity with gratitude:

"We're definitely grateful and humbled that so many people are still interested in us and we have so much more to give."

As her life enters a new chapter with her children growing up, Kimes is enthusiastic about what lies ahead.

"My daughter's at a different peak in her life. We got some more seasons in us. I feel good, I look great. As an empty nester and my daughter moving back to Atlanta, I'm just excited about life right now."

Whether that excitement leads her to the Scottish castle of The Traitors remains to be seen, but Kimes is clearly ready for whatever challenge comes next – and confident she has the smarts to succeed.

Married to Medicine airs on Bravo every Sunday at 9/8c.
