"I'm not coming back": Married At First Sight: Australia star Adrian refuses to return unless he is featured in the promo

Married At First Sight: Australia Season 12 aired its latest episode on February 18, 2025. The 15th episode of the social experiment featured multiple couples, among which one was Awhina and Adrian.

After returning to the apartment, when Awhina couldn't find Adrian, she called him. Soon, she learned he was upset because he was not part of a released promo.

Despite Awhina's attempts to tell him that not all the couples were part of that promo, he was adamant that he wouldn't return unless featured in it.

"I'm not coming back until they get me in the promo," shared Adrian over a call.

Married At First Sight: Australia star Awhina, 30, arrived at her apartment and found everything, including clothes and other things, scattered everywhere. Witnessing that, the producer asked her where Adrian was.

Soon, she saw Adrian's wedding ring, which shocked her. She mentioned that Adrian was not there. The producers then asked her about things that happened at the publicity shoot.

"We already had shot a lot of content, like Adrian and I together. And then later on, we all got seperated to go shoot a seperate promo. Not all husbands and wives would be included in this one (promo.)" replied Awhina.

The Married At First Sight: Australia star mentioned that Adrian was not a part of that promo. Hence he was not part of the promo shoot as well. She stated that he had "just gone screw this" and went home.

As the female cast member arrived at the apartment, she found no one was there. To her surprise, she saw things were scattered all around the apartment. Drawers were half-open, and no signs of Adrian.

Married At First Sight: Australia star Awhina called Adrian to inquire what had happened. When she asked where he was, he mentioned he went home.

"I don't understand. I don't. I'm just confused. Are you coming back?" asked Awhina.

In response, Adrian refused and said he wouldn't return.

"No, I'm not. I'm pissed off that I'm not in the promo. It's disrespectful. I'm not going to be treated like that so I'm not going to accept it. It's a s*it go for me 'cause I don't deserve it."

She told Adrian that husbands and wives were not included in that specific promo. However, he mentioned he didn't "care."

Listening to him, Awhina requested Adrian to come back. He replied that he would not return unless the showmakers would add in the promo. She asked what he would do if he didn't get what he wanted, meaning he was featured in the promo.

"Then, it is what it is. I had a fun time and it's a s*it go and I had a great experience. Outside of that...God's plan," Adrian replied.

He then hung up the call after issuing an ultimatum to Awhina. Witnessing such behavior from Adrian, Awhina was upset and mentioned that he was supposed to be with her.
