The eighth episode of Love is Blind: Sweden Season 2 on Netflix premiered on March 27, 2025. The episode featured engaged participants going for their wedding outfits trial. However, one couple did not attend that. It was Alicia and Oscar.
The recently released episode featured Alicia and Oscar's last meeting, where they broke off their engagement. During their conversation, Love is Blind: Sweden star Oscar expressed his feelings and told Alicia:
"My feelings are very grounded in the fact that if I'm not in love now, after two or three weeks then how will I feel three years from now? There's no love here. And that's the reason why I'm choosing to take a step back."
Love is Blind: Sweden Season 2 Episode 8: Alicia and Oscar's last meeting
An engaged couple, Alicia and Oscar, who have been living apart, met after some time to discuss their feelings. They decided to sit somewhere "green" and have a discussion. Oscar mentioned that he brought some blankets and coffee. They sat by the water and shared how they felt.
When the female cast member asked Oscar how he had been, he expressed:
"I've been a little...I'd be lying if I said I haven't been feeling a little lonely in the apartment. So it's been- - I mean, it's been tough."
He asked Alicia if she had gotten any "clarity" on their relationship since she had been away. In response, she expressed feeling hurt and disappointed. However, she said that she still had feelings for Oscar. Listening to that, Oscar hugged her.
When she asked Oscar, he mentioned that it was "not possible" for him to move forward just by "talking." He said they were supposed to be in their "honeymoon" phase. He was supposed to feel he couldn't stay without her for two days.
"Should I keep fighting for a wedding in two weeks when I don't even feel anything when you go away? I don't wanna feel like that," said Oscar.
Love is Blind: Sweden star Alicia said that if he didn't want that anymore, there was "really no point." She added that she was at the point where she was not going to "nag" or "beg." Oscar then revealed that since there was no "love," he wanted to step back.
Listening to him, the female cast member replied that there wasn't much else to say. Oscar thanked Alicia. He confessed that he wasn't in the mood for chocolate and strawberries then. As they were getting ready to leave after their breakup, Oscar was going to hug Alicia, which she refused:
"I don't wanna hug."
In his private confessional, Oscar said that Alicia had a "really strong need" for security, which he didn't think he needed. He wanted things to be a little "unclear." On the other hand, Love is Blind: Sweden star Alicia confessed to feeling a "lot of" negative emotions.
"I think that if I have nothing nice to say, I should keep quiet because I don't wanna spoil the good things we had going. It's sad enough that it ended this way, but I wouldn't be doing myself or him any good by letting him know all the mean thoughts and feelings I have right now."
